A Hymn of Praise
I will proclaim your greatness, my God and king; I will thank you forever and ever.
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Every day I will thank you; I will praise you forever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
The Lord is great and is to be highly praised; his greatness is beyond understanding. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
What you have done will be praised from one generation to the next; they will proclaim your mighty acts. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
They will speak of your glory and majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
People will speak of your mighty deeds, and I will proclaim your greatness. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
They will tell about all your goodness and sing about your kindness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
The Lord is loving and merciful, slow to become angry and full of constant love. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
He is good to everyone and has compassion on all he made. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
All your creatures, Lord, will praise you, and all your people will give you thanks. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.
They will speak of the glory of your royal power and tell of your might, They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
so that everyone will know your mighty deeds and the glorious majesty of your kingdom. To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
Your rule is eternal, and you are king forever. The Lord is faithful to his promises; he is merciful in all his acts. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
He helps those who are in trouble; he lifts those who have fallen. The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
All living things look hopefully to you, and you give them food when they need it. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
You give them enough and satisfy the needs of all. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all he does, merciful in all his acts. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
He is near to those who call to him, who call to him with sincerity. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
He supplies the needs of those who honor him; he hears their cries and saves them. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
He protects everyone who loves him, but he will destroy the wicked. The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
I will always praise the Lord; let all his creatures praise his holy name forever. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
