1	—	Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

28	Sie waren die Oberhäupter der Sippen ihrer Nachkommen und wohnten in Jerusalem.	These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29	In Gibeon wohnte Jëiël, der Stammvater dieser Stadt; seine Frau hieß Maacha.	And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:
30	Sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon, als weitere Söhne folgten: Zur, Kisch, Baal, Ner, Nadab,	And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31	Gedor, Achjo, Secher und Miklot; dieser hatte einen Sohn namens Schima.	And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32	Auch sie ließen sich wie ihre Stammesbrüder in Jerusalem nieder.	And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.
33	Der Sohn Ners war Abner, der Sohn Kischs war Saul. Die Söhne Sauls waren: Jonatan, Malkischua, Abinadab und Eschbaal.	And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
34	Der Sohn Jonatans war Merib-Baal; der hatte einen Sohn namens Micha.	And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal; and Merib–baal begat Micah.
35	Die Söhne von Micha waren: Piton, Melech, Tachrea und Ahas.	And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36	Ahas zeugte Joadda, und Joadda zeugte Alemet, Asmawet und Simri. Simri zeugte Moza,	And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37	seine weiteren Nachkommen waren: Bina, Rafa, Elasa und Azel.	And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38	Azel hatte sechs Söhne: Asrikam, Bochru, Jischmaël, Schearja, Obadja und Hanan.	And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39	Die Söhne von Azels Bruder Eschek waren: der erstgeborene Ulam, der zweite Jëusch, der dritte Elifelet.	And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40	Die Söhne Ulams waren tapfere Krieger, mit Pfeil und Bogen bewaffnet. Sie hatten viele Söhne und Enkel, insgesamt 150 Mann. Alle die genannten Sippen gehörten zu den Nachkommen Benjamins.	And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
