1	Gott ist bei dir! Ein Lied, zu singen auf dem Weg nach Jerusalem. »Ich blicke hinauf zu den Bergen: Woher wird mir Hilfe kommen?«	I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2	»Meine Hilfe kommt vom Herrn, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat!	My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3	Und du sollst wissen: Der Herr lässt nicht zu, dass du zu Fall kommst. Er gibt immer auf dich acht.	He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4	Er, der Beschützer Israels, wird nicht müde und schläft nicht ein;	Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5	er sorgt auch für dich. Der Herr ist bei dir, hält die Hand über dich,	The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6	damit dich die Hitze der Sonne nicht quält und der Mond dich nicht krank macht.	The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7	Der Herr wendet Gefahr von dir ab und bewahrt dein Leben.	The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8	Auf all deinen Wegen wird er dich beschützen, vom Anfang bis zum Ende, jetzt und in aller Zukunft!«	The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
