| 2 | Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, Da ora in eterno. | Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. |
| 3 | Il nome del Signore è lodato Dal sol levante, infino al ponente. | From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised. |
| 4 | Il Signore è eccelso sopra tutte le nazioni, La sua gloria è sopra i cieli. | The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. |
| 5 | Chi è simile al Signore Iddio nostro, Il quale abita ne’ luoghi altissimi? | Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, |
| 6 | Che riguarda abbasso In cielo ed in terra; | Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! |
| 7 | Che rileva il misero dalla polvere, Ed innalza il povero dallo sterco; | He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; |

| 9 | Che fa abitare in famiglia la donna sterile, Facendola diventar lieta madre di figliuoli? Alleluia. | He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord. |
