(H 4:2) Rukoillessani kuule minua, vanhurskauteni Jumala, joka minua lohdutat ahdistuksessani: ole minulle armollinen, ja kuule rukoukseni. | Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. |
| 2 | (H 4:3) Te uljaat miehet, kuinka kauvan pitää minun kunniani pilkattaman? miksi te rakastatte turhuutta ja kysytte valhetta? Sela! | O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. |
