| 1 | Halleluja! Autuas on, joka pelkää Herraa: joka hänen käskyjänsä sangen himoitsee. | Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. |
| 2 | Hänen siemenensä on valtias maan päällä: hurskasten suku pitää siunatuksi tuleman. | His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. |
| 3 | Rikkaus ja runsaus on hänen huoneessansa, ja hänen vanhurskautensa pysyy ijankaikkisesti. | Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. |
| 4 | Hurskaille koittaa valkeus pimeässä, armolliselta, laupiaalta ja vanhurskaalta. | Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. |
| 5 | Hyvä ihminen on laupias ja mielellänsä lainaa, ja toimittaa asiansa toimellisesti. | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |

| 9 | Hän jakaa ja antaa vaivaisille: hänen vanhurskautensa pysyy ijankaikkisesti: hänen sarvensa korotetaan kunnialla. | He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. |
