| 2 | Warum sollen die Nationen sagen: Wo ist denn ihr Gott? | Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? |
| 3 | Aber unser Gott ist in den Himmeln; alles was ihm wohlgefällt, tut er. | But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. |
| 4 | Ihre Götzen sind Silber und Gold, ein Werk von Menschenhänden. | Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. |
