| 2 | My throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting. | To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, |
| 3 | The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves, | Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. |
| 4 | With the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high. | For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. |
| 5 | Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days. | O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. |
