|---|---|---|
Unto the end, for the sons of Core. | God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of joy, | Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth. | Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet. | There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
He hath chosen for us his inheritance, the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved. | God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet. | The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye. | The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely. | Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne. | He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted. | Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
— | The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
