| 3 | May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee. | What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? |
| 4 | Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel. | Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. |
| 5 | The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand. | Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! |
