| 1 | 來吧，我們歸 向 耶和華！ 他 撕裂我們，也必醫治；他打傷我們，也必纏裹。 | Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. |
| 2 | 過兩天 他必使我們甦醒，第三 天 他必使我們興起，我們就在他面前 得以存活。 | After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. |
| 3 | 我們務要認識 耶和華，竭力追求 認識他。他出現 確 如晨光；他必臨到 我們 像甘雨，像滋潤 田地 的春雨。 | Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. |
| 4 | 主說：以法蓮哪，我可向你 怎樣 行呢？猶大啊，我可向你 怎樣 做呢？因為你們的良善 如同早晨 的雲霧，又如速 散 的甘露。 | O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away. |
| 5 | 因此，我藉先知 砍伐他們，以我口中 的話 殺戮他們；我施行的審判 如光 發出。 | Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. |
| 6 | 我喜愛良善（或譯：憐恤），不喜愛 祭祀；喜愛認識 神，勝於燔祭。 | For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. |
| 7 | 他們 卻如亞當 背 約，在境內 向我 行事詭詐。 | But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me. |
| 8 | 基列 是作 孽 之人的城，被血 沾染。 | Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood. |
| 9 | 強盜成群，怎樣埋伏 殺人，祭司 結黨，也照樣 在示劍 的路上 殺戮，行了 邪惡。 | And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness. |
| 10 | 在以色列 家，我見了 可憎的事；在以法蓮 那裡 有淫行，以色列 被玷污。 | I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled. |
| 11 | 猶大啊，我使被擄 之民 歸回的時候，必有為你 所命定 的收場。 | Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people. |
