| 1 | 耶和華 曉諭 摩西 說： | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 | 「你吩咐 以色列 人 轉回，安營 在比‧哈希錄 前，密奪 和海 的中間，對著巴力‧洗分，靠近 海 邊 安營。 | Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi–hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal–zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. |
| 3 | 法老 必說：『以色列 人 在地中 繞迷了，曠野 把他們 困住了。』 | For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. |
| 4 | 我要使 法老 的心 剛硬，他要追趕 他們，我便在法老 和他全 軍 身上得榮耀；埃及人 就知道 我 是耶和華。」於是以色列人這樣 行了。 | And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord. And they did so. |

| 7 | 並帶著 六 百 輛特選的 車 和埃及 所有的 車，每輛 都有 車兵長。 | And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. |
| 8 | 耶和華 使 埃及 王 法老 的心 剛硬，他就追趕 以色列 人，因為以色列 人 是昂然無懼 地出埃及。 | And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. |

| 11 | 他們對 摩西 說：「難道 在埃及 沒有 墳地，你把我們帶 來死 在曠野嗎？你為甚麼 這樣 待 我們，將我們從埃及 領出來呢？ | And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? |
| 12 | 我們在埃及 豈沒有 對你 說過， 不要 攪擾我們，容我們服事 埃及人嗎？因為 服事 埃及人 比死 在曠野 還好。」 | Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. |
| 13 | 摩西 對 百姓 說：「不要 懼怕，只管站住！看 耶和華 今天 向你們 所 要施行 的救恩。因為，你們今天 所 看見 的埃及人必 永遠 不 再 看見了。 | And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. |
| 14 | 耶和華 必為你們 爭戰；你們 只管靜默，不要作聲。」 | The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. |
| 15 | 耶和華 對 摩西 說：「你為甚麼 向我 哀求呢？你吩咐 以色列 人 往前走。 | And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: |
| 16 | 你 舉 手 向 海 伸 杖，把水分開。以色列 人 要下海 中 走 乾地。 | But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. |
| 17 | 我 要使 埃及人 的心 剛硬，他們就跟著 下去。我要在法老 和他的全 軍、車輛、馬兵 上得榮耀。 | And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. |
| 18 | 我在法老 和他的車輛、馬兵 上得榮耀的時候，埃及人 就知道 我 是耶和華了。」 | And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. |
| 19 | 在以色列 營 前 行走 神 的使者，轉 到 他們後邊去；雲 柱 也從他們前邊 轉到 他們後邊 立住。 | And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: |
| 20 | 在 埃及 營 和以色列 營 中間 有 雲柱，一邊黑暗，一邊發光，終 夜 兩下 不得 相近。 | And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night. |
| 21 | 摩西 向 海 伸 杖，耶和華 便用大 東 風，使 海 水一 夜 退去，水 便分開， 海 就成了 乾地。 | And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. |
| 22 | 以色列 人 下海 中 走 乾地，水 在他們 的左 右 作了牆垣。 | And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. |
| 23 | 埃及人 追趕他們，法老 一切 的馬匹、車輛，和馬兵 都跟著 下 到 海 中。 | And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. |
| 24 | 到了 晨 更的時候，耶和華 從雲 火 柱 中向 埃及 的軍兵 觀看，使 埃及 的軍兵 混亂了； | And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, |
| 25 | 又使 他們的車 輪 脫落，難以 行走，以致埃及人 說：「我們從以色列人 面前 逃跑吧！因 耶和華 為他們 攻擊我們了。」 | And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians. |
| 26 | 耶和華 對 摩西 說：「你向 海 伸 杖，叫水 仍合 在 埃及人 並 他們的車輛、 馬兵身上。」 | And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. |
| 27 | 摩西 就向 海 伸 杖，到了天 一亮，海 水仍舊復 原。埃及人 避 水逃跑的時候，耶和華 把 他們 推翻 在海 中， | And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. |
| 28 | 水 就回流，淹沒了 車輛 和 馬兵。那些跟著 以色列人下 海 法老 的全 軍，連 一個 也沒有 剩下。 | And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. |
| 29 | 以色列 人 卻在海 中 走 乾地；水 在他們的 左 右 作了牆垣。 | But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. |
| 30 | 當 日，耶和華 這樣拯救 以色列 人脫離埃及人 的手，以色列 人看見 埃及人 的死屍 都在 海 邊了。 | Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. |
| 31 | 以色列 人看見 耶和華 向埃及人 所 行 的大 事， 就敬畏 耶和華，又信服他 和他的僕人 摩西。 | And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses. |
