| 1 | 耶和華 對 摩西 說：「你進去 見 法老。 我 使 他 和 他臣僕 的心 剛硬，為要 在他們中間 顯 我這些 神蹟， | And the Lord said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him: |
| 2 | 並要叫 你將 我向埃及 人所 做的事，和 在他們中間 所 行 的神蹟，傳 於你兒子 和你孫子 的耳中，好叫你們知道 我 是耶和華。」 | And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the Lord. |
| 3 | 摩西、亞倫 就進去 見 法老，對他 說：「耶和華─希伯來人的 神 這樣 說：『你在我面前 不肯 自卑 要到 幾時呢？容我的百姓 去，好事奉我。 | And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. |
| 4 | 你 若 不肯 容 我的百姓 去，明天 我 要使蝗蟲 進 入你的境內， | Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast: |
| 5 | 遮滿 地 面，甚至看 不見 地，並且吃 那 冰雹 所剩的 和 田 間 所長 的一切 樹木。 | And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field: |
| 6 | 你的宮殿 和你眾 臣僕 的房屋，並一切 埃及人 的房屋，都要被蝗蟲佔滿了； 自從 你祖宗 和你祖宗 的祖宗 在 世以來，直到 今日，沒有 見過 這樣的災。』」摩西就轉身 離開 法老 出去。 | And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh. |
| 7 | 法老 的臣僕 對 法老說：「這 人為 我們的 網羅 要到 幾時呢？容 這些人 去 事奉 耶和華─他們的 神吧！ 埃及 已經敗壞了，你還不 知道嗎？」 | And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed? |
| 8 | 於是 摩西、 亞倫 被召回來 見 法老；法老對他們 說：「你們去 事奉 耶和華─你們的 神；但那要去 的是 誰呢？」 | And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the Lord your God: but who are they that shall go? |
| 9 | 摩西 說：「我們要和我們老的 少的、兒子 女兒 同去，且把羊群 牛群 一同帶去，因為 我們 務要向耶和華 守節。」 | And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the Lord. |
| 10 | 法老對他們 說：「我容你們 和 你們婦人孩子 去 的時候，耶和華 與你們 同在吧！你們要謹慎；因為 有禍 在 你們眼前（或譯：你們存著惡意）， | And he said unto them, Let the Lord be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you. |
| 11 | 不可 都去！你們這壯年人 去事奉 耶和華吧，因為 這是 你們 所求的。」於是把他們 從 法老 面前 攆出去。 | Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the Lord; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence. |
| 12 | 耶和華 對 摩西 說：「你向 埃及 地 伸 杖，使蝗蟲 到 埃及 地 上來，吃 地 上一切 的菜蔬， 就是冰雹 所 剩的。」 | And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left. |
| 13 | 摩西 就向 埃及 地 伸 杖，那 一 晝 一 夜，耶和華 使 東 風 颳在埃及地上；到了 早晨，東 風 把 蝗蟲 颳了來。 | And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. |
| 14 | 蝗蟲 上來，落 在埃及 的四 境，甚是 厲害；以前 沒 有 這樣的，以後 也必沒 有。 | And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. |
| 15 | 因為這蝗蟲遮 滿 地 面，甚至地 都黑暗了，又吃 地 上一切 的菜蔬 和 冰雹 所 剩 樹上 的果子。埃及 遍 地，無論是樹木，是田間 的菜蔬，連一點 青的 也沒有 留下。 | For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. |
| 16 | 於是法老 急忙 召了 摩西、亞倫來，說：「我得罪 耶和華─你們的 神，又得罪了你們。 | Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the Lord your God, and against you. |
| 17 | 現在 求你，只 這一次，饒恕 我的罪，求 耶和華─你們的 神 使我 脫離 這 一 次的死亡。」 | Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the Lord your God, that he may take away from me this death only. |
| 18 | 摩西就離開 法老 去求 耶和華。 | And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the Lord. |
| 19 | 耶和華 轉了 極 大 的西 風，把 蝗蟲 颳起，吹入 紅 海；在埃及 的四 境 連一 個 也沒有 留下。 | And the Lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. |
| 20 | 但耶和華 使 法老 的心 剛硬，不 容 以色列 人 去。 | But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go. |
| 21 | 耶和華 對 摩西 說：「你向 天 伸 杖，使 埃及 地 黑暗；這黑暗 似乎摸得著。」 | And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. |
| 22 | 摩西 向 天 伸 杖，埃及 遍 地 就 烏黑 了三 天。 | And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: |
| 23 | 三 天之久，人不能 相 見，誰 也不敢 起來 離開本處；惟有以色列 人 家 中都 有 亮光。 | They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. |
| 24 | 法老 就召 摩西來，說：「你們去 事奉 耶和華；只是 你們的羊群 牛群 要留下；你們的婦人孩子 可以 和你們 同去。」 | And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. |
| 25 | 摩西 說：「你 總要 把祭物 和燔祭牲 交 給我們，使我們可以祭祀 耶和華─我們的 神。 | And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the Lord our God. |
| 26 | 我們的牲畜 也 要帶去，連一蹄 也不 留下；因為 我們要從其中 取出來，事奉 耶和華─我們的 神。我們 未 到 那裡，還不 知道 用甚麼 事奉 耶和華。」 | Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the Lord our God; and we know not with what we must serve the Lord, until we come thither. |
| 27 | 但耶和華 使 法老 的心 剛硬，不 肯 容他們去。 | But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let them go. |
| 28 | 法老 對摩西 說：「你離開我 去吧，你要小心，不要 再 見 我的面！因為 你見 我面 的那日 你就必死！」 | And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die. |
| 29 | 摩西 說：「你說 得好！我必不 再 見 你的面了。」 | And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more. |
