| 1 | 智慧 婦人 建立 家室；愚妄 婦人親手 拆毀。 | Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. |
| 2 | 行動 正直的，敬畏 耶和華；行事 乖僻的，卻藐視他。 | He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the Lord: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him. |
| 3 | 愚妄人 口 中驕傲，如杖責打己身；智慧人 的嘴 必保守自己。 | In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. |
| 4 | 家裡無 牛，槽頭 乾淨；土產 加多 乃憑牛 力。 | Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. |
| 5 | 誠實 見證人 不 說謊話；假 見證人 吐出 謊言。 | A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies. |
| 6 | 褻慢人 尋 智慧，卻尋不著；聰明人 易 得知識。 | A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth. |
| 7 | 到 愚昧 人 面前，不 見 他嘴 中有知識。 | Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. |
| 8 | 通達人 的智慧 在乎明白 己道；愚昧人 的愚妄 乃是詭詐（或譯：自欺）。 | The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. |
| 9 | 愚妄人 犯罪，以為戲耍（或譯：贖愆祭愚弄愚妄人）；正直人 互相 喜悅。 | Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. |
| 10 | 心 中的苦楚，自己 知道；心裡的喜樂，外人 無 干。 | The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy. |
| 11 | 奸惡人 的房屋 必傾倒；正直人 的帳棚 必興盛。 | The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. |
| 12 | 有 一條路，人 以為 正，至終 成為死亡 之路。 | There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. |
| 13 | 人在喜笑中，心 也 憂愁；快樂 至極 就生愁苦。 | Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. |
| 14 | 心 中背道的，必滿得自己的結果；善 人 必從自己的行為得以知足。 | The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. |
| 15 | 愚蒙人 是話 都 信；通達人 步步 謹慎。 | The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. |
| 16 | 智慧人 懼怕，就遠離 惡事；愚妄人 卻狂傲 自恃。 | A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident. |
| 17 | 輕易 發怒的，行事 愚妄；設立詭計 的，被人恨惡。 | He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. |
| 18 | 愚蒙人 得愚昧 為產業；通達人 得知識 為冠冕。 | The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge. |
| 19 | 壞人 俯伏 在善人 面前；惡人 俯伏在 義人 門口。 | The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. |
| 20 | 貧窮人 連 鄰舍 也恨他；富足人 朋友 最多。 | The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends. |
| 21 | 藐視 鄰舍的，這人有罪；憐憫 貧窮的，這人有福。 | He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he. |
| 22 | 謀 惡的，豈非 走入迷途嗎？謀 善的，必得慈愛 和誠實。 | Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good. |
| 23 | 諸般 勤勞 都有 益處；嘴 上多言 乃致 窮乏。 | In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. |
| 24 | 智慧人 的財 為自己的冠冕；愚妄人 的愚昧 終是愚昧。 | The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly. |
| 25 | 作真 見證的，救 人性命；吐出 謊言的，施行詭詐。 | A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies. |
| 26 | 敬畏 耶和華的，大 有倚靠；他的兒女 也有 避難所。 | In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. |
| 27 | 敬畏 耶和華 就是生命 的泉源，可以使人離開 死亡 的網羅。 | The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. |
| 28 | 帝王 榮耀 在乎民 多；君王 衰敗 在乎民 少。 | In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. |
| 29 | 不輕易 發怒的，大 有聰明；性情 暴躁的，大顯 愚妄。 | He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. |
| 30 | 心 中安靜 是肉體 的生命；嫉妒 是骨 中的朽爛。 | A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. |
| 31 | 欺壓 貧寒的，是辱沒 造他的主；憐憫 窮乏的，乃是尊敬主。 | He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. |
| 32 | 惡人 在所行的惡 上必被推倒；義人 臨死，有所投靠。 | The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death. |
| 33 | 智慧 存在 聰明人 心中；愚昧人 心裡所存的，顯而易見。 | Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. |
| 34 | 公義 使邦國 高舉；罪惡 是人民 的羞辱。 | Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. |
| 35 | 智慧 的臣子 蒙王 恩惠；貽羞 的僕人遭 其震怒。 | The king’s favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame. |
