| 2 | 不義 之財 毫無 益處；惟有公義 能救人 脫離死亡。 | Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. |
| 3 | 耶和華 不 使義 人 受飢餓；惡人 所欲的，他必推開。 | The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. |
| 4 | 手 懶的，要受 貧窮；手 勤的，卻要富足。 | He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. |
| 5 | 夏天 聚斂的，是智慧 之子；收割時 沉睡的，是貽羞 之子。 | He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. |
| 6 | 福祉 臨到義人 的頭；強暴 蒙蔽 惡人 的口。 | Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. |
| 7 | 義人 的紀念 被稱讚；惡人 的名字 必朽爛。 | The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. |

| 10 | 以眼 傳神的，使人 憂患；口裡 愚妄的，必致傾倒。 | He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall. |
| 11 | 義人 的口 是生命 的泉源；強暴 蒙蔽 惡人 的口。 | The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. |
| 12 | 恨 能挑啟 爭端；愛 能遮掩 一切 過錯。 | Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. |
| 13 | 明哲人 嘴裡 有 智慧；無 知 人背上受 刑杖。 | In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. |
| 14 | 智慧人 積存 知識；愚妄人 的口 速致 敗壞。 | Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. |
| 15 | 富戶 的財物 是他的堅 城；窮人 的貧乏 是他的敗壞。 | The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty. |

| 18 | 隱藏 怨恨的，有說謊的 嘴；口出 讒謗的，是 愚妄的人。 | He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. |
| 19 | 多 言多語 難 免 有過；禁止 嘴唇 是有智慧。 | In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. |
| 20 | 義人 的舌 乃似高 銀；惡人 的心 所值無幾。 | The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth. |
| 21 | 義人 的口 教養 多人；愚昧人 因無 知 而死亡。 | The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. |
| 22 | 耶和華 所賜的福 使人富足，並不 加上 憂慮。 | The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. |
| 23 | 愚妄人 以行 惡 為戲耍；明哲 人 卻以智慧為樂。 | It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom. |
| 24 | 惡人 所怕的，必 臨到他；義人 所願的，必蒙應允。 | The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. |
| 25 | 暴風 一過，惡人 歸於無有；義人 的根基 卻是永久。 | As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. |
| 26 | 懶惰人 叫差他的人 如醋 倒牙，如煙 薰目。 | As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him. |
| 27 | 敬畏 耶和華 使人日子 加多；但惡人 的年歲 必被減少。 | The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. |
| 28 | 義人 的盼望 必得喜樂；惡人 的指望 必致滅沒。 | The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. |
| 29 | 耶和華 的道 是正直人 的保障，卻成了作 孽 人的敗壞。 | The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. |
| 30 | 義人 永 不 挪移；惡人 不得 住在 地上。 | The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. |
| 31 | 義人 的口 滋生 智慧；乖謬 的舌 必被割斷。 | The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out. |
