| 1 | 約伯 回答 說： | Then Job answered and said, |
| 2 | 你們攪擾 我的心，用言語 壓碎我 要到 幾時呢？ | How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? |
| 3 | 你們這 十 次 羞辱我；你們苦待 我 也不 以為恥。 | These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me. |
| 4 | 果 真 我有錯，這錯 乃是在 我。 | And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself. |
| 5 | 你們果 然 要向我 誇大，以我的羞辱 為證指責 我， | If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach: |
| 6 | 就該 知道 是 神 傾覆我，用網羅 圍繞 我。 | Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net. |
| 7 | 我因委曲 呼叫，卻不 蒙應允；我呼求，卻不得 公斷。 | Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment. |
| 8 | 神用籬笆攔住 我的道路，使我不得 經過；又使 我的路徑 黑暗。 | He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths. |
| 9 | 他剝去 我的榮光，摘去 我頭上 的冠冕。 | He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. |
| 10 | 他在四圍 攻擊我，我便歸於死亡，將我的指望 如樹 拔出來。 | He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree. |
| 11 | 他的忿怒 向我 發作，以我為 敵人。 | He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies. |
| 12 | 他的軍旅 一齊 上來，修築 戰路 攻擊我，在我帳棚 的四圍 安營。 | His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle. |
| 13 | 他把我的弟兄 隔 在遠處，使我所認識的 全然 與我 生疏。 | He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me. |
| 14 | 我的親戚 與我斷絕；我的密友 都忘記我。 | My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me. |
| 15 | 在我家 寄居的，和我的使女 都以我為 外人；我在他們眼中 看為 外邦人。 | They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight. |
| 16 | 我呼喚 僕人，雖用 口 求 他，他還是不 回答。 | I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth. |
| 17 | 我口的氣味，我妻子 厭惡；我的懇求，我同胞也憎嫌。 | My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children’s sake of mine own body. |
| 18 | 連小孩子 也 藐視 我；我若起來，他們都嘲笑 我。 | Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me. |
| 19 | 我的密 友 都 憎惡我；我平日所 愛 的人向我 翻臉。 | All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me. |
| 20 | 我的皮 肉 緊貼 骨頭；我只剩牙 皮 逃脫了。 | My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth. |
| 21 | 我朋友啊， 可憐我！可憐我！因為 神 的手 攻擊 我。 | Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me. |
| 22 | 你們為甚麼 彷彿 神 逼迫我，吃我的肉 還以為不 足呢？ | Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh? |
| 23 | 惟 願 我的言語 現在 寫上， 都記錄 在書上； | Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! |
| 24 | 用鐵 筆 鐫刻，用鉛 灌在磐石上，直存到永遠。 | That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! |
| 25 | 我 知道 我的救贖主 活著，末了 必站立 在 地上。 | For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: |
| 26 | 我這 皮肉 滅絕 之後，我必在肉體 之外得見 神。 | And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: |
| 27 | 我 自己 要見他，親眼 要看他，並不 像外人。我的心腸 在我裡面 消滅了！ | Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. |
| 28 | 你們若 說：我們逼迫 他 要何等地重呢？惹事 的根 乃在乎 他； | But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? |
| 29 | 你們 就當懼怕 刀劍；因為 忿怒 惹動刀劍 的刑罰，使 你們知道有報應（原文是審判）。 | Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment. |
