| 1 | 書亞人 比勒達 回答 說： | Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, |
| 2 | 你尋 索 言語 要到 幾時呢？你可以揣摩思想，然後 我們就說話。 | How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. |
| 3 | 我們為何 算為 畜生，在你眼中 看作污穢呢？ | Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight? |
| 4 | 你這惱怒 將自己 撕裂的，難道大地 為你 見棄、磐石 挪開 原處嗎？ | He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place? |
| 5 | 惡人 的亮光 必要熄滅；他的火 焰 必不 照耀。 | Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. |
| 6 | 他帳棚 中的亮光 要變為黑暗；他以上 的燈 也必熄滅。 | The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. |
| 7 | 他堅強的 腳步 必見狹窄；自己的計謀 必將他絆倒。 | The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. |
| 8 | 因為 他被自己的腳 陷入 網中，走 在 纏人的網羅上。 | For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. |
| 9 | 圈套 必抓住 他的腳跟；機關 必擒獲 他。 | The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. |
| 10 | 活扣 為他藏 在土內；羈絆 為他藏在 路上。 | The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. |
| 11 | 四面 的驚嚇 要使他害怕，並且追趕 他的腳跟。 | Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. |
| 12 | 他的力量 必 因飢餓衰敗；禍患 要在他旁邊 等候。 | His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. |
| 13 | 他本身的 肢體 要被吞吃；死亡 的長子 要吞吃 他的肢體。 | It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. |
| 14 | 他要從所倚靠 的帳棚 被拔出來，帶到 驚嚇 的王那裡。 | His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. |
| 15 | 不 屬他的 必住 在他的帳棚裡；硫磺 必撒 在 他所住之處。 | It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. |
| 16 | 下邊，他的根本 要枯乾；上邊，他的枝子 要剪除。 | His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. |
| 17 | 他的記念 在 地上 必然滅亡；他的 名字 在 街 上 也不存留。 | His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. |
| 18 | 他必從光明 中被攆 到 黑暗裡，必被趕出 世界。 | He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. |
| 19 | 在本民 中必無 子 無 孫；在寄居之地 也無一人 存留。 | He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. |
| 20 | 以後來的 要驚奇 他的日子，好像以前去的 受了 驚駭。 | They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. |
| 21 | 不義之人 的住處 總是 這樣；此乃 不 認識 神 之人的地步。 | Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God. |
