| 2 | 有西門•彼得 和 稱為 低土馬 的多馬，並 加利利 的 迦拿人 拿但業，還有 西庇太 的兩個兒子，又有 兩個 門徒，都在 一處。 | There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. |

| 23 | 於是 這 話 傳在 弟兄 中間，說 那 門徒 不 死。其實，耶穌 不 是說 他 不 死，乃是說：「我若 要 他 等 到 我來的時候，與 你 何干？」 | Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? |
| 24 | 為這些事 作 見證，並且 記載 這些事 的 就是 這 門徒；我們也 知道 他 的見證 是 真的。 | This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. |
| 25 | 耶穌 所 行 的事 還 有 許多， 若 是一 一地 都寫出來，我想，所寫 的書 就是世界 也容 不下了。 | And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. |
