| 2 | 直到 他藉著 聖 靈 吩咐 所 揀選 的使徒， 以後被接上升 的日子為止。 | Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: |
| 3 | 他 受害 之後，用 許多的 憑據 將自己 活活地 顯 給使徒看，四十 天 之久 向他們 顯現， 講說 神 國的事。 | To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: |

| 7 | 耶穌對 他們 說：「 父 憑著 自己的 權柄 所定 的時候、 日期，不 是 你們 可以知道的。 | And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. |
| 8 | 但 聖 靈 降臨 在 你們身上，你們就必得著 能力，並 要在 耶路撒冷、 猶太 全地，和 撒馬利亞， 直到 地 極，作 我的 見證。」 | But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. |
| 9 | 說 了這話，他們 正看的時候，他就被取上升， 有一朵雲彩 把他 接去，便看不見他了。 | And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. |
| 10 | 當 他 往上去，他們 定睛 望 天的時候， 忽然有兩個 人 身穿 白 衣，站在旁邊， 說： | And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; |
| 11 | 「加利利 人哪，你們為甚麼 站著 望 天呢？這 離開 你們 被接 升 天 的 耶穌，你們見 他 怎樣往 天 上去，他還要 怎樣 來。」 | Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. |
| 12 | 有一座山，名叫 橄欖山， 離耶路撒冷 不遠，約有 安息日 可走的路程。當下，門徒從 那裡回 耶路撒冷去， | Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey. |
| 13 | 進了城，就 上了 所住的一間樓房；在那裡 有 彼得、 約翰、 雅各、 安得烈、腓力、 多馬、巴多羅買、 馬太、亞勒腓 的兒子雅各、 奮銳黨 的西門，和 雅各的兒子（或譯：兄弟）猶大。 | And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. |
| 14 | 這些 人同著幾個婦人 和 耶穌 的母親 馬利亞，並 耶穌 的弟兄，都 同心合意地 恆切 禱告。 | These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. |
| 15 | 那時， 有 許多人 聚會，約有 一百 二十名，彼得 就在 弟兄 中間 站起來，說： | And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) |
| 16 | 「弟兄們！ 聖 靈 藉 大衛 的口，在聖經 上預言 領人 捉拿 耶穌 的猶大，這話是必須 應驗的。 | Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. |
| 17 | 他本來 列 在 我們數中，並且 在 使徒的職任 上得了 一分。 | For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. |
| 18 | 這人 用 他作惡 的工價 買了 一塊田，以後 身子仆倒，肚腹 崩裂， 腸子 都 流出來。 | Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. |
| 19 | 住 在耶路撒冷 的眾人 都 知道這事，所以 按著他們 那裡的 話 給那塊 田 起名叫 亞革大馬，就是「血 田」的意思。 | And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. |
| 20 | 因為 詩篇 上 寫著，說：願他 的住處 變為 荒場， 無人 在內 居住；又說：願別人 得 他 的職分。 | For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. |
| 21 | 所以， 主 耶穌 在 我們 中間始終出 入 的時候， | Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, |
| 22 | 就是從 約翰 施洗 起，直到 主離開 我們 被接上升 的日子為止，必須 從那常與我們 作伴 的 人 中立 一位 與 我們 同作耶穌 復活 的見證。」 | Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. |
| 23 | 於是 選舉 兩個人，就是那 叫做 巴撒巴，又稱呼 猶士都 的約瑟，和 馬提亞。 | And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. |
| 24 | 眾人就 禱告 說：「主啊，你 知道 萬人的心，求你從 這 兩個 人中，指明 你所揀選 的是誰，叫他得 這 使徒 的位分。 這 位分猶大 已經丟棄，往 自己 的地方 去了。」 | And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, |
| 25 | a | That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. |
| 26 | 於是 眾人為他們 搖 籤， 搖出 馬提亞來；他就 和 十一個 使徒 同列。 | And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles. |
