| 1 | 「我 是 真 葡萄樹， 我 父 是 栽培的人。 | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. |
| 2 | 凡 屬 我 不 結 果子 的枝子，他就剪去； 凡 結 果子的，他就修理乾淨，使 枝子結 果子 更多。 | Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. |
| 3 | 現在 你們 因 我講 給你們的 道，已經乾淨了。 | Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. |
| 4 | 你們要常在 我 裡面，我也 常在你們 裡面。枝子 若 不 常在 葡萄樹 上，自己 就 不能 結 果子；你們 若 不 常 在 我 裡面，也是 這樣。 | Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. |

| 7 | 你們若 常在 我裡面，我 的話 也 常在 你們裡面，凡 你們所願意的，祈求，就 給你們 成就。 | If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. |
| 8 | 你們多 結 果子，我 父 就因此 得榮耀，你們也就 是 我 的門徒了。 | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |
| 9 | 我 愛 你們，正如 父 愛 我一樣；你們 要常在我 的愛 裡。 | As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. |
| 10 | 你們若 遵守 我 的命令，就常在 我 的愛裡，正如 我 遵守了 我 父 的命令， 常在 他 的愛裡。 | If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. |
| 11 | 「這些事 我已經對你們 說了，是要叫 我 的喜樂 存在 你們心裡，並 叫你們 的喜樂 可以滿足。 | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
| 12 | 你們要彼此 相愛，像 我愛 你們一樣；這 就是 我 的命令。 | This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. |
| 13 | 人 為 朋友 捨 命，人 的 愛心 沒有比這個 大的。 | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |
| 14 | 你們 若 遵行 我 所 吩咐的，就是 我 的朋友了。 | Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. |
| 15 | 以後我不再 稱 你們 為僕人，因 僕人 不 知道 主人 所做 的事。我乃 稱 你們 為朋友；因 我從 我 父 所 聽見 的，已經都告訴 你們了。 | Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. |
| 16 | 不 是你們 揀選了 我，是 我 揀選了 你們，並且 分派 你們 去 結 果子， 叫你們的 果子 常存，使 你們奉 我的 名，無論 向父 求 甚麼，他就賜給 你們。 | Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. |
| 17 | 我這樣 吩咐 你們，是 要叫你們彼此 相愛。」 | These things I command you, that ye love one another. |
| 18 | 「世人 若 恨 你們，你們知道（或譯：該知道）， 恨你們 以先 已經恨 我了。 | If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. |
| 19 | 你們若 屬 世界，世界 必 愛 屬自己的；只 因 你們不 屬 世界，乃 是我 從 世界 中揀選了 你們，所以 世界 就恨 你們。 | If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. |
| 20 | 你們要記念 我 從前對你們 所 說 的話：『僕人 不 能 大於 主人。』他們若 逼迫了 我，也 要逼迫 你們；若 遵守了 我 的話，也 要遵守 你們的話。 | Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. |
| 21 | 但 他們因 我的名 要向 你們 行 這一切 的事，因為 他們不 認識 那差 我來的。 | But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. |
| 22 | 我若 沒有 來 教訓 他們，他們就沒 有 罪；但 如今 他們 的罪 無 可 推諉了。 | If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. |
| 23 | 恨 我的，也 恨 我 的父。 | He that hateth me hateth my Father also. |
| 24 | 我若 沒有 在他們 中間 行 過別人 未 曾行 的事，他們就沒 有 罪；但 如今 連 我 與 我 的父，他們也 看見 也 恨惡了。 | If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. |
| 25 | 這要應驗 他們 律法 上 所 寫 的話，說：『 他們無故地 恨 我。』 | But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. |
| 26 | 但 我 要從 父 那裡差 保惠師 來，就是 從 父 出來 真理 的聖靈；他來了，就要為 我 作見證。 | But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: |
| 27 | 你們 也 要作見證，因為 你們從 起頭 就與 我 同在。」 | And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. |
