1 逾越節 前 六 日，耶穌 來 到 伯大尼，就 是 他 叫拉撒路 從 死 裡復活 之處。 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
2 有人在那裡 給耶穌 預備 筵席； 馬大 伺候，拉撒路 也 在 那同 耶穌 坐席 的人中。 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
3 馬利亞 就拿著 一斤 極貴 的真哪噠 香膏，抹 耶穌 的腳，又 用自己 頭髮 去擦，屋裡 就 滿 了 膏 的香氣。 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
4 有一個 門徒，就是 那將要 賣 耶穌 的加略人 猶大， Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him,
5 說：「這 香膏 為甚麼 不 賣 三十 兩銀子 賙濟 窮人呢？」 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6 他說 這話， 並不 是 掛念 窮人，乃 因 他是 個賊，又 帶著 錢囊，常取 其中所存的。 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
7 耶穌 說：「由 她吧！她是為 我 安葬 之日 存留的。 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
8 因為 常 有 窮人 和 你們同在，只是 你們不 常 有 我。」 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
9 有許多 猶太 人 知道 耶穌在 那裡， 就來了，不 但 是為 耶穌的緣故，也 是 要看 他從 死 裡所復活 的拉撒路。 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 但 祭司長 商議 連拉撒路 也 要殺了； But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
11 因 有好些 猶太人 為拉撒路 的緣故，回去 信 了 耶穌。 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
12 第二天，有許多 上來 過 節 的人 聽見 耶穌 將到 耶路撒冷， On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 就拿著 棕樹 枝 出去 迎接 他， 喊著說：和散那！奉 主 名 來 的 以色列 王 是應當稱頌的！ Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 耶穌 得了 一個驢駒，就騎 上，如 經上所 記的說： And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 錫安的民（原文是女子）哪，不 要懼怕！你 的王 騎 著 驢 駒 來了。 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 這些事 門徒 起先 不 明白， 等到 耶穌 得了榮耀 以後 才想起 這話 是 指著 他 寫的，並且 眾人果然向他 這樣 行了。 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
17 當 耶穌呼喚 拉撒路， 叫他 從 死 復活 出 墳墓的時候，同 耶穌 在 那裡 的眾人 就作見證。 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
18 眾人 因 聽見 耶穌行了 這 神蹟，就 去迎接 他。 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
19 法利賽人 彼此 說：「看哪，你們是 徒勞 無益， 世人 都隨從 他 去了。」 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
20 那時，上來 過 節 禮拜 的人中，有幾個 希臘人。 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
21 他們 來 見 加利利 伯賽大 的腓力， 求 他 說：「先生，我們願意 見 耶穌。」 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
22 腓力 去 告訴 安得烈， 安得烈 同 腓力 去 告訴 耶穌。 Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.
23 耶穌 說：「人 子 得榮耀 的 時候 到了。 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
24 我實實 在在地 告訴 你們，一粒 麥子 不 落 在 地 裡死了， 仍舊是 一粒， 若 是死了，就結出 許多 子粒來。 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25 愛惜 自己 生命的，就失喪 生命； 在 這 世上 恨惡 自己 生命的，就要保守 生命 到 永 生。 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
26 若 有人 服事 我，就當跟從 我； 我 在 哪裡，服事我 的人 也 要在 那裡；若 有人 服事 我，我父 必尊重 他。」 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
27 「我 現在 心裡 憂愁， 我說 甚麼才好呢？父啊，救 我 脫離 這 時候；但 我原是 為 這 時候 來的。 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28 父啊，願你榮耀 你 的名！」當時 就有聲音 從 天上 來，說：「我已經 榮耀了我的名，還要 再 榮耀。」 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 站在 旁邊 的眾人 聽見，就說：「打雷了。」還有人 說：「有天使 對他 說話。」 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 耶穌 說：「這 聲音 不 是 為 我， 是為 你們來的。 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 現在 這 世界 受 審判， 這 世界 的王 要被趕 出去。 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 我 若 從 地 上被舉起來，就要吸引 萬人 來歸 我。」 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 耶穌這 話 原是指著 自己將要 怎樣 死說的。 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
34 眾人 回答說：「我們 聽見 律法上有話說， 基督 是 永 存的， 你 怎麼 說『人 子 必須 被舉起來』呢？這 人 子 是 誰呢？」 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
35 耶穌 對他們 說：「光 在 你們 中間 還有 不多的 時候，應當趁著 有 光 行走，免得 黑暗 臨到 你們； 那在 黑暗 裡行走的，不 知道 往何處 去。 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 你們應當趁著 有 光，信 從 這光，使 你們成為 光明 之子。」耶穌 說了 這話，就離開他們 隱藏了。 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
37 他 雖然 在他們 面前 行了 許多 神蹟，他們還是不 信 他。 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
38 這是 要應驗 先知 以賽亞 的話， 說：主啊，我們 所傳 的有誰 信呢？ 主 的膀臂 向誰 顯露呢？ That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 他們所以 不 能 信，因為 以賽亞 又 說： Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40 主叫他們 瞎了 眼， 硬了 心，免得 他們眼睛 看見， 心裡 明白， 回轉過來， 我就醫治 他們。 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
41 以賽亞 因為 看見 他 的榮耀，就 指 著 他 說 這話。 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.
42 雖然如此，官長 中 卻 有好些 信 他的，只 因 法利賽人的緣故，就不 承認，恐怕 被 趕出會堂。 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
43 這是 因他們愛 人 的榮耀 過 於愛 神 的榮耀。 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
44 耶穌 大聲 說：「信 我的，不 是信 我，乃是 信 那差 我來的。 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45 人看見 我，就是看見 那差 我來的。 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
46 我 到 世上來，乃是光，叫 凡 信 我的，不 住 在 黑暗裡。 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47 若 有人 聽見 我 的話 不 遵守，我 不 審判 他。我來 本 不 是要 審判 世界，乃 是要 拯救 世界。 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 棄絕 我、 不 領受 我 話的人，有 審判 他的─就是我所 講 的道 在 末 日 要審判 他。 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 因為 我 沒 有憑著 自己 講，惟 有差 我 來的父 已經給 我 命令，叫我說 甚麼， 講 甚麼。 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 我也 知道 他 的命令 就是 永 生。故此，我 所講 的話 正是 照著 父 對我 所說的。」 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
