| 1 | 俄巴底亞 得了耶和華 的默示。論 以東 說：我從 耶和華 那裡聽見 信息，並有使者 被差 往列國去，說：起來吧，一同起來 與以東 爭戰！ | The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. |
| 2 | 我使 你─以東在列國中 為最小的，被人大大 藐視。 | Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised. |
| 3 | 住 在山 穴中、居所 在高處的啊，你因狂傲 自欺，心裡 說：誰 能將我拉下 地去呢？ | The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? |
| 4 | 你雖 如大鷹 高飛， 在星宿 之間 搭 窩，我必從那裡 拉下你來。這是耶和華 說的。 | Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord. |
| 5 | 盜賊 若 來 在你那裡，或 強盜 夜間而來─你何竟 被剪除─豈不 偷竊 直到夠了呢？摘葡萄的 若 來 到你那裡，豈不 剩下 些葡萄呢？ | If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes? |

| 7 | 與你結盟 的 都 送你上路，直到 交界；與你和好 的 欺騙你，且勝過 你；與你一同吃飯的 設下 網羅 陷害你；在你心裡 毫無 聰明。 | All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him. |
| 8 | 耶和華 說：到那 日，我豈不 從以東 除滅 智慧人？從以掃 山 除滅聰明人？ | Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau? |
| 9 | 提幔哪，你的勇士 必驚惶，甚至 以掃 山的 人 都被殺戮 剪除。 | And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter. |
| 10 | 因你向兄弟 雅各 行強暴，羞愧 必遮蓋你，你也必永遠 斷絕。 | For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. |
| 11 | 當外人 擄掠 雅各的財物，外邦人 進入 他的城門，為 耶路撒冷 拈 鬮 的日子， 你 竟 站 在一旁，像與他們 同夥。 | In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them. |
| 12 | 你兄弟 遭難 的日子，你不當 瞪眼看著；猶大 人 被滅 的日子，你不當 因此歡樂；他們遭難 的日子，你不當 說狂傲的話。 | But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. |

| 16 | 你們猶大人在 我聖 山 怎樣喝了苦杯，萬 國 也必照樣 常常地 喝；且喝 且咽，他們就歸於 無 有。 | For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. |
| 17 | 在錫安 山 必有 逃脫的人，那山也必成 聖；雅各 家 必得 原有的產業。 | But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. |
| 18 | 雅各 家 必成為 大火；約瑟 家 必為火焰；以掃 家 必如碎秸；火必將他 燒著 吞滅。 以掃 家 必無 餘剩的。這是 耶和華 說的。 | And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it. |
| 19 | 南地的人 必得 以掃 山；高原的人必得 非利士地，也得 以法蓮 地 和 撒馬利亞 地；便雅憫人必得 基列。 | And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. |
| 20 | 在迦南人 中被擄的 以色列 眾 人 必得地直到 撒勒法； 在西法拉 中被擄的 耶路撒冷人 必得 南地 的城邑。 | And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. |
| 21 | 必有拯救者 上 到錫安 山，審判 以掃 山；國度 就歸 耶和華了。 | And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s. |
