| 2 | 對 先知 耶利米 說：「求你 准 我們在你面前 祈求，為我們 這 剩下的 人禱告 耶和華─你的 神。 我們本來眾多，現在剩下的 極少，這是 你親眼 所見的。 | And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the Lord thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:) |

| 9 | 對他們 說：「耶和華─以色列的 神，就是 你們請 我 在他面前 為你們祈 求的主，如此 說： | And said unto them, Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him; |
| 10 | 『你們若 仍 住 在這 地，我就建立 你們，必不 拆毀，栽植 你們，並不 拔出，因 我為 降與 你們 的 災禍 後悔了。 | If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. |
| 11 | 不要 怕 你們 所 怕的 巴比倫 王』」。耶和華 說：「不要 怕 他！因為 我 與你們同在，要拯救 你們 脫離 他的手。 | Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the Lord: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. |
| 12 | 我也要使他發 憐憫，好憐憫 你們，叫你們 歸 回 本地。 | And I will shew mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land. |
| 13 | 倘若 你們 說：『我們不 住 在這 地』，以致不 聽從 耶和華─你們 神 的話， | But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the Lord your God, |
| 14 | 說：『我們不住這地，卻 要進入 埃及 地，在那裡 看不 見 爭戰，聽不 見 角 聲，也不 致無食 飢餓。我們必住 在那裡。』 | Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell: |
| 15 | 你們所剩下的 猶大人哪，現在 要聽 耶和華 的話。萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說：『你們 若 定 意 要進入 埃及， 在那裡 寄居， | And now therefore hear the word of the Lord, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there; |
| 16 | 你們 所 懼怕的 刀劍 在埃及 地 必追上 你們！你們 所 懼怕的 饑荒 在埃及 要緊緊地 跟隨你們！你們必死 在那裡！ | Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. |
| 17 | 凡 定 意 要進入 埃及 在那裡 寄居的 必 遭刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫 而死， 無 一人 存留，逃脫 我 所 降 與他們 的災禍。』 | So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them. |
| 18 | 「 萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說：『我怎樣 將我的怒氣 和忿怒 傾 在 耶路撒冷 的居民身上， 你們進入 埃及的時候，我也必照樣 將我的忿怒 傾 在你們身上，以致你們令人辱罵、驚駭、咒詛、羞辱，你們不 得再 見 這 地方。』 | For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. |

| 21 | 我今日 將這話告訴 你們，耶和華─你們的 神 為你們的事差遣我 到你們 那裡說的，你們卻一樣 沒有 聽從。 | And now I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you. |
