| 1 | 耶和華 的話 又臨 到我 說： | The word of the Lord came also unto me, saying, |
| 2 | 「你 在這 地方 不可 娶 妻， 生兒 養女。 | Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place. |
| 3 | 因為 論到 在這 地方 所生的 兒 女，又論到 在這 國中 生 養 他們 的父 母，耶和華 如此 說： | For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land; |
| 4 | 他們必 死 得甚苦，無人 哀哭，必不 得葬埋，必在 地 上 像糞土，必 被刀劍 和饑荒 滅絕；他們的屍首 必 給空 中的飛鳥 和地 上的野獸 作食物。」 | They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. |
| 5 | 耶和華 如此 說：「不要 進入 喪 家，不要 去 哀哭，也不要 為他們 悲傷，因 我已將 我的平安、 慈愛、 憐憫 從 這 百姓 奪去了。這是耶和華 說的。 | For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies. |

| 7 | 他們有 喪事，人必不 為他們擘餅，因 死人 安慰他們；他們喪 父 喪 母，人也不 給 他們 一杯 酒安慰他們。 | Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. |
| 8 | 你不可 進入 宴樂 的家，與他們 同坐 吃 喝。 | Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink. |
| 9 | 因為 萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說： 你們還活著的日子 在你們眼前，我必使歡喜 和快樂 的聲音，新郎 和新婦 的聲音，從 這 地方 止息了。 | For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. |
| 10 | 「 你將 這 一切 的話 指示 這 百姓。他們問你 說：『耶和華 為 甚麼 說，要降 這 大 災禍 攻擊我們呢？我們有甚麼 罪孽呢？ 我們向耶和華─我們的 神 犯了 甚麼 罪呢？』 | And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? |
| 11 | 你就對他們 說：『耶和華 說：因 為 你們列祖 離棄 我，隨 從 別 神，事奉 敬拜， 不 遵守 我的律法， | Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; |
| 12 | 而且你們 行 惡 比你們列祖更甚； 因為各人 隨 從 自己頑梗的惡 心 行事，甚至不 聽從 我， | And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: |
| 13 | 所以我必將你們 從 這 地 趕出，直趕到 你們和你們列祖 素不 認識 的地。你們 在那裡 必晝 夜 事奉 別 神，因為 我必不 向你們 施 恩。』 | Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. |
| 14 | 耶和華 說：「 日子 將到，人必不 再 指著那領 以色列 人 從埃及 地 上來 之永生的 耶和華 起誓， | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; |
| 15 | 卻 要指著那領 以色列 人 從北方 之地，並趕他們 到的 各 國 上來 之永生的 耶和華起誓，並且我要領他們 再入 我從前賜 給他們列祖 之地。」 | But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. |
| 16 | 耶和華 說：「 我要召 許多 打魚的 把以色列人打上來，然後 我要召 許多 打獵的，從 各 山上、 各 岡上、各石 穴 中獵取他們。 | Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. |
| 17 | 因 我的眼目 察看 他們的一切 行為；他們不能 在我面 前遮掩，他們的罪孽 也不能 在 我眼 前隱藏。 | For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. |
| 18 | 我先 要加倍 報應 他們的罪孽 和罪惡；因為 他們用可憎 之屍 玷污 我的地土，又用可厭之物 充滿 我的產業。」 | And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. |
| 19 | 耶和華啊，你是我的力量，是我的保障；在苦難 之日 是我的避難所。列國人 必從地 極 來 到你這裡，說：我們列祖 所承受的，不過是 虛假，是虛空 無 益 之物。 | O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. |
| 20 | 人 豈可為自己 製造 神呢？其實這 不是 神。 | Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? |
| 21 | 耶和華說：「 我要使他們知道，就是這 一次 使他們知道 我的手 和 我的能力。他們就知道 我的名 是耶和華了。」 | Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord. |
