| 2 | 他 登基 的時候年 二十 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 十 六 年；不 像他祖 大衛 行 耶和華─他 神 眼中 看為正的事， | Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of the Lord his God, like David his father. |

| 8 | 亞哈斯 將 耶和華 殿裡 和王 宮 府庫裡所有的 金 銀 都送給 亞述 王 為禮物。 | And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria. |
| 9 | 亞述 王 應允了 他， 就上去 攻打 大馬士革，將城攻取，殺了 利汛，把居民擄 到吉珥。 | And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin. |
| 10 | 亞哈斯 王 上 大馬士革 去迎接 亞述 王提革拉．毘列色， 在大馬士革 看見 一座壇， 就照壇的 規模樣式 作法畫了 圖樣，送 到 祭司 烏利亞那裡。 | And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath–pileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that was at Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof. |
| 11 | 祭司 烏利亞 照著 亞哈斯 王 從大馬士革 送來 的圖樣，在亞哈斯 王 沒有 從大馬士革 回來之先， 建築 一座壇。 | And Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the priest made it against king Ahaz came from Damascus. |
| 12 | 王 從大馬士革 回來 看見 壇， 就近 前來，在 壇上獻祭； | And when the king was come from Damascus, the king saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered thereon. |
| 13 | 燒 燔祭、 素祭、澆 奠祭，將 平安祭 牲的 血 灑 在 壇上， | And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings, upon the altar. |
| 14 | 又 將 耶和華 面前 的 銅 壇 從 耶和華 殿 和新壇 的中間 搬 到 新壇 的北 邊。 | And he brought also the brasen altar, which was before the Lord, from the forefront of the house, from between the altar and the house of the Lord, and put it on the north side of the altar. |
| 15 | 亞哈斯 王 吩咐 祭司 烏利亞 說：「 早晨 的燔祭、 晚上的 素祭， 王的 燔祭、 素祭，國內 眾 民 的燔祭、素祭、奠祭 都要燒 在 大 壇上。 燔祭牲 和平安祭牲的 血 也要灑 在這壇上，只是銅 壇 我 要用以 求問耶和華。」 | And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire by. |
| 16 | 祭司 烏利亞 就照著 亞哈斯 王 所 吩咐的 行了。 | Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded. |
| 17 | 亞哈斯 王 打掉 盆座 四面鑲著的心子，把 盆 從座上 挪下來，又將 銅海 從 馱海的 銅 牛 上搬下來，放 在 鋪石 地； | And king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brasen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stones. |
| 18 | 又因 亞述 王的緣故，將 耶和華 殿 為安息日 所 蓋的 廊子 和 王 從外 入 殿的廊子挪移，圍繞耶和華 的殿。 | And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s entry without, turned he from the house of the Lord for the king of Assyria. |
| 19 | 亞哈斯 其餘 所 行的 事都 寫 在 猶大 列王 記上。 | Now the rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? |
| 20 | 亞哈斯 與 他列祖 同睡，葬 在大衛 城 他列祖的墳地裡。他兒子 希西家 接續他 作王。 | And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead. |
