Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason. |
| 14 | 祭司 耶何耶大 帶 管轄 軍兵 的百夫 長 出來，吩咐他們 說：「將她趕 到 班 外，凡跟 隨她 的必用刀 殺死！」因為 祭司 說：「不可 在耶和華 殿 裡殺她。」 | Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth of the ranges: and whoso followeth her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not in the house of the Lord. |
| 15 | 眾兵就閃開，讓她去；她走 到 王 宮 的馬 門，便在那裡 把她殺了。 | So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king’s house, they slew her there. |
| 16 | 耶何耶大 與 眾 民 和 王 立 約，都要作 耶和華 的民。 | And Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and between all the people, and between the king, that they should be the Lord’s people. |
| 17 | 於是眾 民 都到 巴力 廟，拆毀了廟，打碎 壇 和 像，又在壇 前 將 巴力 的祭司 瑪坦 殺了。 | Then all the people went to the house of Baal, and brake it down, and brake his altars and his images in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. |
| 18 | 耶何耶大 派 官 看守耶和華 的殿，是在祭司 利未人 手下。這 祭司利未人是大衛 分派 在 耶和華 殿中、照摩西 律法 上所寫的，給耶和華 獻 燔祭，又按 大衛 所定的例，歡樂 歌唱； | Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the Lord by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the Lord, to offer the burnt offerings of the Lord, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David. |
| 19 | 且設立 守門的 把守 耶和華 殿 的各門，無論為何 事，不潔淨 的人都不准 進去。 | And he set the porters at the gates of the house of the Lord, that none which was unclean in any thing should enter in. |
| 20 | 又率領 百夫 長 和 貴冑，與 民間 的官長，並 國 中的眾 民，請王 從耶和華 殿 下來，由 上 門 進入 王 宮，立 王 坐 在 國 位上。 | And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the Lord: and they came through the high gate into the king’s house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom. |
| 21 | 國 民 都 歡樂，合城 都安靜。眾人已將 亞她利雅 用刀 殺了。 | And all the people of the land rejoiced: and the city was quiet, after that they had slain Athaliah with the sword. |
