절	Union Traditional	King James Version
1	大衛的兒子所羅門國位堅固；耶和華─他的神與他同在，使他甚為尊大。	And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
2	所羅門吩咐以色列眾人，就是千夫長、百夫長、審判官、首領與族長都來。	Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.
3	所羅門和會眾都往基遍的邱壇去，因那裡有神的會幕，就是耶和華僕人摩西在曠野所製造的。	So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness.
4	只是神的約櫃，大衛已經從基列‧耶琳搬到他所預備的地方，因他曾在耶路撒冷為約櫃支搭了帳幕，	But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjath–jearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
5	並且戶珥的孫子、烏利的兒子比撒列所造的銅壇也在基遍耶和華的會幕前。所羅門和會眾都就近壇前。	Moreover the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the Lord: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.
6	所羅門上到耶和華面前會幕的銅壇那裡，獻一千犧牲為燔祭。	And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.
7	當夜，神向所羅門顯現，對他說：「你願我賜你甚麼，你可以求。」	In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
8	所羅門對神說：「你曾向我父大衛大施慈愛，使我接續他作王。	And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
9	耶和華神啊，現在求你成就向我父大衛所應許的話；因你立我作這民的王，他們如同地上塵沙那樣多。	Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
10	求你賜我智慧聰明，我好在這民前出入；不然，誰能判斷這眾多的民呢？」	Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
11	神對所羅門說：「我已立你作我民的王。你既有這心意，並不求資財、豐富、尊榮，也不求滅絕那恨你之人的性命，又不求大壽數，只求智慧聰明好判斷我的民；	And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
12	我必賜你智慧聰明，也必賜你資財、豐富、尊榮。在你以前的列王都沒有這樣，在你以後也必沒有這樣的。」	Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
13	於是，所羅門從基遍邱壇會幕前回到耶路撒冷，治理以色列人。	Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.
14	所羅門聚集戰車馬兵，有戰車一千四百輛，馬兵一萬二千名，安置在屯車的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那裡。	And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
15	王在耶路撒冷使金銀多如石頭，香柏木多如高原的桑樹。	And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.
16	所羅門的馬是從埃及帶來的，是王的商人一群一群按著定價買來的。	And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received the linen yarn at a price.
17	他們從埃及買來的車，每輛價銀六百舍客勒，馬每匹一百五十舍客勒。赫人諸王和亞蘭諸王所買的車馬，也是按這價值經他們手買來的。	And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.
