| 1 | 耶利哥 的城門因 以色列 人 就關得 嚴緊，無人 出 入。 | Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. |
| 2 | 耶和華曉諭 約書亞 說：「看哪，我已經把 耶利哥和 耶利哥的王，並大能 的勇士，都交 在你手中。 | And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. |
| 3 | 你們的一切 兵丁 要圍繞 這城，一日圍繞 一 次，六 日 都要這樣 行。 | And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. |
| 4 | 七個 祭司 要拿七個 羊 角 走 在約櫃 前。到第七 日，你們要繞 城 七 次，祭司 也要吹 角。 | And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. |

| 8 | 約書亞 對 百姓 說完了話，七 個祭司 拿 七 個羊 角 走 在耶和華 面前 吹 角；耶和華 的約 櫃 在他們後面 跟隨。 | And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them. |

| 12 | 約書亞 清早 起來，祭司 又抬起 耶和華 的約櫃。 | And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. |
| 13 | 七個 祭司 拿 七個 羊 角 在耶和華 的約櫃 前，時常 行走 吹 角；帶兵器的 在他們前面 走，後隊 隨著 耶和華 的約櫃 行。祭司一面走 一面吹。 | And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the Lord, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. |
| 14 | 第二 日，眾人把 城 繞了 一 次，就回 營裡去。六 日 都是這樣 行。 | And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days. |
| 15 | 第七 日清早，黎明 的時候，他們起來，照樣 繞 城 七 次；惟獨 這 日 把 城 繞了 七 次。 | And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. |
| 16 | 到了第七 次，祭司 吹 角的時候，約書亞 吩咐 百姓 說：「呼喊吧，因為 耶和華 已經把 城 交 給你們了！ | And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city. |
| 17 | 這城 和其中 所有的 都要 在耶和華面前 毀滅；只有 妓女 喇合 與她 家中 所有的 可以存活，因為 她隱藏了 我們所 打發 的使者。 | And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. |
| 18 | 至於 你們，務要謹慎，不可取 那當滅的物，恐怕 你們 取了 那當滅的物 就連累 以色列 的全營，使 全營受咒詛。 | And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. |
| 19 | 惟有金子、銀子，和銅 鐵 的器皿 都 要 歸耶和華 為聖，必入 耶和華 的庫中。」 | But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord. |
| 20 | 於是百姓 呼喊，祭司也吹 角。 百姓 聽見 角 聲， 便大 聲 呼喊，城牆 就塌陷，百姓 便上去 進城，各人 往前直上，將 城 奪取； | So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. |
| 21 | 又將 城中 所有的，不拘男女 老 少， 牛 羊 和驢，都用刀 殺盡。 | And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. |
| 22 | 約書亞 吩咐窺探 地 的兩個 人 說：「你們進 那妓 女 的家，照著你們向她 所 起的誓，將 那女人和 她 所有的 都從那裡 帶出來。」 | But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. |
| 23 | 當探子的 兩個少年人 就進去， 將 喇合 與她的父 母、弟兄，和 她 所有的，並 她一切的 親眷，都帶出來，安置 在以色列 的營 外。 | And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. |
| 24 | 眾人就用火 將城 和其中 所有的 焚燒了；惟有 金子、銀子，和銅 鐵 的器皿 都放 在耶和華 殿 的庫中。 | And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord. |
| 25 | 約書亞 卻把 妓女 喇合與 她父 家，並 她 所有的，都救活了；因為 她隱藏了 約書亞 所 打發 窺探 耶利哥 的使者，她就住 在以色列 中，直到 今日。 | And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. |
| 26 | 當時，約書亞 叫眾人起誓 說：「有 興起 重修 這 耶利哥 城 的人，當在耶和華 面前 受咒詛。他立根基的時候，必喪長子，安 門的時候，必喪幼子。」 | And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. |
| 27 | 耶和華 與 約書亞 同在， 約書亞的聲名 傳揚遍 地。 | So the Lord was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country. |
