| 1 | 有幾個 以色列 長老 到我 這裡來，坐 在我面前。 | Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me. |
| 2 | 耶和華 的話 就臨 到我 說： | And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 3 | 「人 子啊，這些 人 已將他們的假神 接 到 心裡，把陷於罪 的絆腳石 放 在面 前，我豈能絲毫 被他們 求問嗎？ | Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them? |
| 4 | 所以 你要告訴 他們：『主 耶和華 如此 說：以色列 家 的人 中，凡 將 他的假神 接 到 心裡，把陷於罪 的絆腳石 放 在面 前，又就了 先知 來的，我─耶和華 在他所求的事上，必按他眾多 的假神 回答 他（或譯：必按他拜許多假神的罪報應他）， | Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; |

| 9 | 先知 若 被迷惑 說 一句預言，是我─耶和華 任 那 先知 受迷惑，我也必向他 伸 手，將他從我民 以色列 中 除滅。 | And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. |
| 10 | 他們必擔當 自己的罪孽。先知 的罪孽 和求問之人 的罪孽 都是一樣， | And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; |
| 11 | 好使 以色列 家 不 再 走迷 離開我，不 再 因各樣 的罪過 玷污自己，只要作 我的 子民，我 作 他們的 神。這是主 耶和華 說的。」 | That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord God. |

| 13 | 「人 子啊，若 有一國 犯 罪 干犯 我，我也向他 伸 手 折斷 他們的 杖，就是斷絕他們的糧，使饑荒 臨到 那地，將人 與牲畜 從其中 剪除； | Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: |
| 14 | 其中 雖有 挪亞、但以理、約伯 這 三 人，他們 只能因他們的義 救 自己的性命。這是主 耶和華 說的。 | Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God. |
| 15 | 我若 使惡 獸 經過 糟踐 那地，使 地荒涼，以致因 這些獸，人都不得 經過； | If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: |
| 16 | 雖有這 三 人 在其中，主 耶和華 說：我 指著我的永生起誓，他們 連 兒 帶 女 都不能得救，只能 自己得救，那地 仍然 荒涼。 | Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. |
| 17 | 或者 我使刀劍 臨 到 那 地，說：刀劍哪，要經過 那地，以致我將人 與牲畜 從其中 剪除； | Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: |
| 18 | 雖有這 三 人 在其中，主 耶和華 說：我 指著我的永生起誓，他們連兒 帶女 都不能 得救， 只能 自己得救。 | Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. |
| 19 | 或者 我叫 瘟疫 流行 那 地，使我滅命（原文是帶血）的忿怒 傾 在其上，好將人 與牲畜 從其中 剪除； | Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: |
| 20 | 雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯 在其中，主 耶和華說：我 指著我的永生起誓，他們 連 兒 帶 女 都不能救，只能因他們的義 救 自己的性命。」 | Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. |
| 21 | 主 耶和華 如此 說：「 我將這四樣 大 災─就是刀劍、饑荒、惡 獸、瘟疫 降 在 耶路撒冷，將人 與牲畜 從其中 剪除，豈不更重嗎？ | For thus saith the Lord God; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? |
| 22 | 然而 其中 必有剩下 的人，他們連兒 帶女必 帶 到你們 這裡來，你們看見 他們所行 所為的，要因我 降 給 耶路撒冷的 一切 災禍，便得了安慰。 | Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it. |
| 23 | 你們看見 他們所行 所為的， 得了安慰，就知道 我在耶路撒冷 中所行 的並非 無故。這是主 耶和華 說的。」 | And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord God. |
