| 2 | 那時，你們在 其中 行事為人，隨從 今 世 的風俗，順服 空中 掌權者 的首領，就是現今 在 悖逆 之子 心中運行 的邪靈。 | Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: |
| 3 | 我們 從前 也 都 在他們 中間， 放縱 肉體的 私慾，隨著 肉體 和 心 中所喜好的去行， 本為 可怒 之子，和 別人 一樣。 | Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. |
| 4 | 然而， 神 既有 豐富的 憐憫，因 他 愛 我們 的大 愛， | But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, |
| 5 | 當 我們 死 在過犯中的時候，便叫我們與 基督一同活過來。你們得救 是 本乎恩。 | Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) |
| 6 | 他又叫我們與 基督 耶穌 一同復活， 一同 坐在 天上， | And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: |
| 7 | 要將他 極 豐富的 恩典，就是他在 基督 耶穌 裡向 我們 所施的恩慈，顯明 給 後來的 世代看。 | That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. |
| 8 | 你們得救 是 本乎恩，也因著 信； 這 並不是 出於 自己，乃是 神 所賜的； | For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: |
| 9 | 也不是 出於 行為，免得 有人 自誇。 | Not of works, lest any man should boast. |
| 10 | 我們原是 他的 工作，在 基督 耶穌 裡造成的，為要 叫我們行善，就是 神 所預備 叫我們行 的。 | For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. |
| 11 | 所以 你們應當記念： 你們從前 按 肉體 是 外邦人， 是稱為 沒受割禮的；這名原是 那些 憑人手 在 肉身 上稱為 受割禮之人所起的。 | Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; |
| 12 | 那 時，你們 與基督 無關，在以色列 國民 以外， 在所應許的 諸約 上是局外人，並且活在 世上 沒 有 指望，沒有 神。 | That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: |
| 13 | 你們 從前 遠離 神的人，如今 卻 在 基督 耶穌裡，靠著 他 的血，已經得 親近了。 | But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. |
| 14 | 因 他 使 我們 和睦（原文是因他是我們的和睦）， 將 兩下 合而為一， 拆毀 了中間隔斷 的牆； | For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; |
| 15 | 而且以 自己的 身體 廢掉 冤仇，就是那記在 律法 上的規條，為要 將兩下 藉著 自己 造成 一個 新 人，如此便成就 了和睦。 | Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; |
| 16 | 既在 十字架上滅 了冤仇，便藉 這十字架 使兩下 歸為 一 體，與 神 和好了， | And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: |
| 17 | 並且 來 傳 和平 的福音給你們 遠處的人， 也 給那近處的人。 | And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. |
| 18 | 因為 我們兩下 藉著 他 被 一個 聖靈 所感，得以 進到 父面前。 | For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. |
| 19 | 這樣，你們不再 作外人 和 客旅， 是 與聖徒 同國，是 神 家裡的人了； | Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; |
| 20 | 並且被建造 在使徒 和 先知 的根基 上，有基督 耶穌 自己 為 房角石， | And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; |
| 21 | 各（或譯：全）房 靠 他 聯絡得合式，漸漸成 為 主 的聖 殿。 | In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: |
| 22 | 你們 也 靠 他 同被建造，成為 神 藉著 聖靈 居住的所在。 | In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. |
