| 2 | 大衛 起身，率領 跟隨他 的眾 人 前往，要從巴拉‧猶大 將 神 的約櫃 運來；這約櫃 就是 坐 在 二基路伯 上萬軍 之耶和華 留名的約櫃。 | And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the Lord of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims. |

| 11 | 耶和華 的約櫃 在 迦特人俄別‧以東 家中 三個 月；耶和華 賜福 給俄別‧以東 和 他的全 家。 | And the ark of the Lord continued in the house of Obed–edom the Gittite three months: and the Lord blessed Obed–edom, and all his household. |
| 12 | 有人告訴 大衛 王 說：「耶和華 因為 約櫃 賜福 給俄別‧以東 的家 和 一切 屬他的。」大衛 就去，歡歡喜喜地 將 神 的約櫃從俄別‧以東 家中 抬 到大衛 的城裡。 | And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obed–edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed–edom into the city of David with gladness. |

| 15 | 這樣，大衛 和以色列 的全 家 歡呼 吹 角，將 耶和華 的約櫃 抬上來。 | So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. |
| 16 | 耶和華 的約櫃 進 了大衛 城的時候，掃羅 的女兒 米甲 從 窗戶裡 觀看，見 大衛 王 在耶和華 面前 踴躍 跳舞，心裡 就輕視 他。 | And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. |
| 17 | 眾人將 耶和華 的約櫃 請進去，安放 在所預備的地方，就是 在大衛 所搭 的帳幕 裡。大衛 在耶和華 面前 獻 燔祭 和平安祭。 | And they brought in the ark of the Lord, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. |
| 18 | 大衛 獻 完了 燔祭 和平安祭，就奉萬軍 之耶和華 的名 給 民 祝福， | And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts. |
| 19 | 並且分 給 以色列 眾 人，無論男 女，每人 一 個 餅，一 塊肉，一個 葡萄餅；眾 人 就各 回 各家去了。 | And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house. |
| 20 | 大衛 回 家要給 眷屬 祝福；掃羅 的女兒 米甲 出來 迎接 他，說：「以色列 王 今日 在臣僕 的婢女 眼前 露體， 如同一個 輕賤人 無恥 露體一樣， 有好大的 榮耀啊！」 | Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! |
| 21 | 大衛 對 米甲 說：「這是在耶和華 面前；耶和華 已揀選 我，廢了你父 和你父的全 家，立 我 作 耶和華 民 以色列 的君，所以我必在耶和華 面前 跳舞。 | And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. |
| 22 | 我也必 更加 卑微，自己看 為 輕賤。你所 說的那些 婢女，她們 倒要尊敬我。」 | And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. |
| 23 | 掃羅 的女兒 米甲，直到 死 日，沒 有 生養兒女。 | Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death. |
