| 2 | 「那生下來 作猶太人 之王 的在 哪裡？ 我們在 東方 看見 他的 星， 特來 拜 他。」 | Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. |
| 3 | 希律 王 聽見了，就心裡不安； 耶路撒冷 合城 的人也都不安。 | When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. |
| 4 | 他就召 齊了 祭司長 和 民間的 文士，問 他們說：「基督 當生 在何處？」 | And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. |

| 22 | 只 因 聽見 亞基老 接著 他 父親 希律 作了猶太 王，就怕 往那裡 去，又 在 夢 中被主指示，便往 加利利 境內 去了， | But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: |
| 23 | 到了 一座城，名叫 拿撒勒，就住 在那裡。這是要 應驗 先知 所 說， 他將稱為 拿撒勒人的話了。 | And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. |
