1 耶穌和門徒將近 耶路撒冷，到了 伯法其 和 伯大尼，在 橄欖 山那裡；耶穌就打發 兩個 門徒， And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
2 對他們 說：「你們 往 對面 村子 裡去， 一 進 去的時候，必看見 一匹驢駒 拴在那裡， 是從來沒有 人 騎過的，可以解開， 牽來。 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
3 若 有人 對你們 說：『為甚麼 做 這事？』你們就說：『主 要 用 牠。』 那人必立時 讓你們牽來。」 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
4 他們去了，便 看見 一匹驢駒 拴 在 門 外 街道 上，就 把牠 解開。 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
5 在那裡 站著的人，有幾個 說：「你們解 驢駒 做 甚麼？」 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
6 門徒照著 耶穌 所說的 回答，那些人就 任憑 他們牽去了。 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
7 他們把驢駒 牽 到 耶穌那裡， 把自己的 衣服 搭在 上面，耶穌就 騎 上。 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
8 有許多 人把 衣服 鋪 在 路上，也 有人 把田間 的樹枝 砍 下來，鋪在路上。 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 前行 後隨 的人都喊著說：和散那（和散那：原有求救的意思，在此乃是稱頌的話）！奉 主 名 來的 是應當稱頌的！ And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 那將要來的 我 祖 大衛之 國 是應當稱頌的！高高在 上 和散那！ Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
11 耶穌進 了 耶路撒冷， 入了 聖殿， 周圍看了 各樣物件。天色 已 晚，就和 十二個 門徒出城，往 伯大尼去了。 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
12 第二天，他們 從 伯大尼 出來，耶穌餓了。 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 遠遠地 看見 一棵無花果樹，樹上有 葉子，就往那裡去，或者 在 樹 上可以找著 甚麼。 到 了 樹下，竟找 不著甚麼，不過 有葉子，因為 不 是 收無花果 的時候。 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 耶穌就 對樹 說：「從今以後，永 沒有人 吃 你 的 果子。」他的 門徒 也 聽見了。 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
15 他們來 到 耶路撒冷。 耶穌進 入 聖殿， 趕出 殿 裡 做買 賣的人， 推倒 兌換銀錢 之人的桌子 和 賣 鴿子 之人的凳子； And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 也 不 許 人 拿著 器具 從殿裡 經過； And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 便 教訓 他們 說：「經上不是 記著 說：我的 殿 必稱為 萬 國 禱告的 殿嗎？你們 倒 使 它 成為賊 窩了。」 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 祭司長 和 文士 聽見這話，就 想 法子 要除滅 耶穌，卻 又怕 他，因為 眾人 都 希奇 他的 教訓。 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
19 每天晚上，耶穌出 城 去。 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 早晨，他們從那裡經過，看見 無花果樹 連 根 都枯乾了。 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 彼得 想起耶穌的話來，就對他 說：「拉比，請看！你所 咒詛的 無花果樹 已經枯乾了。」 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 耶穌 回答 說：「你們當 信服 神。 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 我實在 告訴 你們， 無論何人 對這 座山 說：『你挪開此地， 投 在 海裡！』 他 若心 裡 不 疑惑，只 信 他所 說的 必成，就必給他 成了。 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 所以 我告訴 你們，凡你們 禱告 祈求的，無論 是甚麼，只要信 是 得著的， 就必得著。 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 你們站著 禱告 的時候，若 想起有人 得罪 你們，就當饒恕他，好叫 你們 在 天上 的父 也 饒恕 你們 的 過犯。 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 你們 若 不 饒恕人，你們 在 天上 的父 也不 饒恕 你們的 過犯。（有古卷無此節）」 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
27 他們又 來 到 耶路撒冷。 耶穌 在 殿 裡行走的時候，祭司長 和 文士 並 長老 進 前來， And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
28 問他 說：「你仗著 甚麼 權柄 做 這些事？ 給 你 這 權柄 的是誰呢？」 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
29 耶穌 對他們 說：「我要問 你們 一 句話， 你們回答 我，我就 告訴 你們 我仗著 甚麼 權柄 做 這些事。 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 約翰的 洗禮 是 從 天上來的？是 從 人間來的呢？你們可以回答 我。」 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 他們彼此 商議 說：「我們若 說『從 天上來』，他必說：『這樣，你們為甚麼 不 信 他呢？』 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 若說『從 人間來』，卻又怕 百姓，因為 眾人 真 以 約翰 為 先知。」 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
33 於是 回答 耶穌 說：「我們不 知道。」 耶穌 說：「我 也不 告訴 你們 我仗著 甚麼 權柄 做 這些事。」 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
