| 2 | 不要 毀謗，不要 爭競，總要和平，向 眾 人 大 顯 溫柔。 | To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. |
| 3 | 我們 從前 也 是 無知、悖逆、受迷惑、服事 各樣 私慾，和 宴樂，常存 惡毒（或譯：陰毒） 嫉妒的心，是可恨的，又是彼此 相恨。 | For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. |
| 4 | 但到了 神─我們 救主 的恩慈 和 他向人所施的慈愛 顯明 的時候， | But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, |
| 5 | 他便救了 我們；並不是 因 我們 自己所行 的 義，乃是 照 他的 憐憫，藉著 重生 的洗 和 聖 靈 的更新。 | Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; |

| 8 | 這話 是可信的。我也 願 你 把 這些事 切切實實地講明，使 那些已信 神 的人留心 做 正經 事業（或譯：留心行善）。這 都是 美事，並且 與人 有益。 | This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. |

| 10 | 分門結黨的 人，警戒 過 一 兩次，就要棄絕他。 | A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; |
| 11 | 因為 知道 這等人 已經背道， 犯了罪，自己明知不是，還是去做。 | Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. |
| 12 | 我打發 亞提馬 或是 推基古 到 你 那裡去的時候，你要趕緊 往 尼哥坡里 去見 我，因為 我已經定意 在那裡 過冬。 | When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter. |
| 13 | 你要趕緊 給律師 西納 和 亞波羅 送行，叫 他們 沒有 缺乏。 | Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them. |
| 14 | 並且 我們的人 要學習 正經 事業（或譯：要學習行善），預備 所需 用的，免得 不結果子。 | And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. |
| 15 | 同我 在一處的人 都 問你 安。請代問那些因 有信心 愛 我們 的人安。願恩惠 常與你們 眾人 同在！ | All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen. It was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia. |
