| 1 | 心中的谋算在乎人；舌头的应对由于耶和华。 | The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. |
| 2 | 人一切所行的，在自己眼中看为清洁；惟有耶和华衡量人心。 | All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. |
| 3 | 你所做的，要交托耶和华，你所谋的，就必成立。 | Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. |
| 4 | 耶和华所造的，各适其用；就是恶人也为祸患的日子所造。 | The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. |
| 5 | 凡心里骄傲的，为耶和华所憎恶；虽然连手，他必不免受罚。 | Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. |
| 6 | 因怜悯诚实，罪孽得赎；敬畏耶和华的，远离恶事。 | By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. |
| 7 | 人所行的，若蒙耶和华喜悦，耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。 | When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. |
| 8 | 多有财利，行事不义，不如少有财利，行事公义。 | Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. |
| 9 | 人心筹算自己的道路；惟耶和华指引他的脚步。 | A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. |
| 10 | 王的嘴中有 神语，审判之时，他的口必不差错。 | A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment. |
| 11 | 公道的天平和秤都属耶和华；囊中一切法码都为他所定。 | A just weight and balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag are his work. |
| 12 | 作恶，为王所憎恶，因国位是靠公义坚立。 | It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. |
| 13 | 公义的嘴为王所喜悦；说正直话的，为王所喜爱。 | Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right. |
| 14 | 王的震怒如杀人的使者；但智慧人能止息王怒。 | The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it. |
| 15 | 王的脸光使人有生命；王的恩典好像春云时雨。 | In the light of the king’s countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain. |
| 16 | 得智慧胜似得金子；选聪明强如选银子。 | How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! |
| 17 | 正直人的道是远离恶事；谨守己路的，是保全性命。 | The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. |
| 18 | 骄傲在败坏以先；狂心在跌倒之前。 | Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. |
| 19 | 心里谦卑与穷乏人来往，强如将掳物与骄傲人同分。 | Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. |
| 20 | 谨守训言的，必得好处；倚靠耶和华的，便为有福。 | He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. |
| 21 | 心中有智慧，必称为通达人；嘴中的甜言，加增人的学问。 | The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. |
| 22 | 人有智慧就有生命的泉源；愚昧人必被愚昧惩治。 | Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. |
| 23 | 智慧人的心教训他的口，又使他的嘴增长学问。 | The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. |
| 24 | 良言如同蜂房，使心觉甘甜，使骨得医治。 | Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. |
| 25 | 有一条路，人以为正，至终成为死亡之路。 | There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. |
| 26 | 劳力人的胃口使他劳力，因为他的口腹催逼他。 | He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him. |
| 27 | 匪徒图谋奸恶，嘴上彷佛有烧焦的火。 | An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. |
| 28 | 乖僻人播散纷争；传舌的，离间密友。 | A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. |
| 29 | 强暴人诱惑邻舍，领他走不善之道。 | A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. |
| 30 | 眼目紧合的，图谋乖僻；嘴唇紧闭的，成就邪恶。 | He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass. |
| 31 | 白发是荣耀的冠冕，在公义的道上必能得着。 | The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness. |
| 32 | 不轻易发怒的，胜过勇士；治服己心的，强如取城。 | He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. |
| 33 | 签放在怀里，定事由耶和华。 | The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord. |
