| 2 | 今值季世、以其子諭我儕、卽所立爲萬有之嗣、並由之而造諸世者、 | Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; |
| 3 | 彼爲上帝榮之光華、質之眞像、且以有能之言、持載萬有、旣潔衆罪、則坐於皇皇在上者之右、 | Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; |
| 4 | 超越於天使、以其所得之名尊於彼也、 | Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. |
| 5 | 蓋上帝曾向何天使云、爾乃我子、今日生爾、又云、我將爲其父、彼將爲我子、 | For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? |
| 6 | 其使冢子入世時、則曰、上帝之使、皆當拜之、 | And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. |
| 7 | 言及天使、則曰、上帝令其使爲風、其役爲火燄、 | And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. |
| 8 | 惟言及其子、則曰、上帝歟、爾之位爰及世世、爾之國柄、乃正直之柄也、 | But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. |
| 9 | 爾好義惡惡、故上帝卽爾之上帝、以喜樂之膏膏爾、超越爾侶、 | Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. |
| 10 | 又曰、主歟、爾元始奠地之基、諸天乃爾手之工、 | And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: |
| 11 | 天地必亡、惟爾恆存、彼皆如衣而漸舊、 | They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; |
| 12 | 爾將卷之如袍、彼若衣而更易、惟爾依然、爾年無盡、 | And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. |
| 13 | 上帝曾向何天使云、爾坐我右、俟我使爾敵爲爾足几、 | But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? |
| 14 | 天使非皆服役之神、奉遣以事蒙救者乎、 | Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? |
