| 1 | 耶和華諭我曰、爾其復往、愛彼淫婦、他人所愛者、如以色列人雖轉向他神、嗜其葡萄餅、耶和華仍愛之、 | Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. |
| 2 | 於是我以銀十五舍客勒、麰麥一賀梅爾有半、購婦歸我、 | So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: |
| 3 | 謂之曰、爾其與我靜處多日、勿行淫、勿從他人、我之於爾亦然、 | And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. |
| 4 | 以色列人必歷多日、無王無君、無祭祀、無柱像、無聖衣、無家神、 | For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: |
| 5 | 厥後以色列人、必轉求其上帝耶和華、及其王大衞、迨至末日、以寅畏歸於耶和華、蒙其慈惠、 | Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. |
