| 1 | 耶和華諭摩西曰、今我所行於法老者、爾必目擊、使彼因我大能之手、釋吾民衆、驅之出境、○ | Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. |
| 2 | 上帝諭摩西曰、我乃耶和華、 | And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: |
| 3 | 昔我於亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、顯見爲全能之上帝、惟未嘗以我耶和華名示之、 | And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. |
| 4 | 我與之約、錫以所旅之迦南地、 | And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. |
| 5 | 今埃及人使以色列族服役、我聞其呻吟、追念吾約、 | And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. |
| 6 | 當告以色列人曰、我乃耶和華、將脫爾於埃及人所加之重負、罷爾苦役、以奮臂巨災贖爾、 | Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: |
| 7 | 我將以爾爲民、吾爲爾之上帝、使知我乃爾上帝耶和華、脫爾於埃及人所加之重負者、 | And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. |
| 8 | 昔我誓賜亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之地、必導爾入之、予爾爲業、我乃耶和華也、 | And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord. |
| 9 | 摩西以告以色列人、彼緣役酷心憂、不聽其言、○ | And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. |
| 10 | 耶和華諭摩西曰、 | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 11 | 入告埃及王法老、俾釋以色列民出其境、 | Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land. |
| 12 | 摩西曰、以色列人尚不我聽、法老焉能聽我拙口者乎、 | And Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? |
| 13 | 耶和華命摩西亞倫詣以色列族、與埃及王法老、導以色列人出埃及地、○ | And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. |
| 14 | 以色列之族長、臚列如左、以色列長子流便之子、哈諾、法路、希斯崙、迦米、此乃流便之家、 | These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben. |
| 15 | 西緬之子耶母利、雅憫、阿轄、雅斤、瑣轄、及迦南女所生之掃羅、此乃西緬之家、 | And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon. |
| 16 | 利未之子、革順、哥轄、米拉利、依其世系、利未享壽一百三十七歲、 | And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years. |
| 17 | 革順之子、立尼、示每、依其家族、 | The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families. |
| 18 | 哥轄之子、暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯倫、烏薛、哥轄享壽一百三十三歲、 | And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years. |
| 19 | 米拉利之子、抹利、母示、此乃利未之家、依其世系、 | And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations. |
| 20 | 暗蘭娶其姑約基別、生亞倫、摩西、暗蘭享壽一百三十七歲、 | And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years. |
| 21 | 以斯哈之子、哥拉、尼斐、細基利、 | And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri. |
| 22 | 烏薛之子、米沙利、以利撒反、西提利、 | And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri. |
| 23 | 亞倫娶亞米拿達女、拿順妹以利沙巴、生拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪、 | And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. |
| 24 | 可拉之子、亞惜、以利加拿、亞比亞撒、此乃可拉之家、 | And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites. |
| 25 | 亞倫之子以利亞撒、娶普鐵之女、生非尼哈、以上所載、皆利未之族長、俱依其家、 | And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families. |
| 26 | 耶和華所命導以色列人聯隊出埃及者、卽此摩西亞倫、 | These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies. |
| 27 | 後告埃及王法老、導以色列人出其境者、亦此二人也、○ | These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron. |
| 28 | 耶和華於埃及地、與摩西言時、諭之曰、 | And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt, |
| 29 | 我乃耶和華、當以我所諭爾者、悉告埃及王法老、 | That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee. |
| 30 | 摩西曰、我拙口、法老焉能聽我哉、 | And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me? |
