| 1 | 耶和華曰、天乃我坐位、地乃我足几、爾將爲我建若何之室、以何地爲我安息之所乎、 | Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? |
| 2 | 又曰、凡此、皆由我手所造而有、惟謙冲心傷、緣我言而戰慄者、我必顧之、 | For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. |
| 3 | 彼宰牛如殺人、供羔如折犬項、獻祭如奉豕血、焚香如頌偶像者、皆自擇其途、心悅可惡之事、 | He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. |
| 4 | 我必擇其所受誘惑、以彼所懼加於其身、因我有命彼不應、有言彼不從、行我所惡、擇我所不悅也、○ | I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. |
| 5 | 緣耶和華言而戰慄者、尚其聽之、爾兄弟憾爾、緣我名而逐爾、曰、願耶和華獲榮、俾我見爾之樂、若人必蒙羞恥、 | Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. |
| 6 | 自邑有喧譁之聲、自殿有耶和華報敵之聲、 | A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompence to his enemies. |
| 7 | 維彼錫安女、不坼副而分娩、未劬勞而生男、若此之事、孰聞之、孰見之、 | Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. |
| 8 | 國豈能一日而成、民豈能一時而生、然錫安女方姙、遂產其子矣、 | Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. |
| 9 | 耶和華曰、我旣使坼副、豈不使之產乎、爾之上帝曰、我旣使生育、豈閉其胚胎乎、 | Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. |
| 10 | 凡愛耶路撒冷者、當與之同樂共歡、爲之憂者、當與之偕喜、 | Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: |
| 11 | 致可食其慰藉之乳而飽、以其榮光之盛而樂、 | That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. |
| 12 | 耶和華曰、我必廣賜平康、有若江河、畀以諸國之榮、有若泛溢之溪、爾可享之、爲彼抱於肋旁、搖於膝上、 | For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. |
| 13 | 我必慰爾、若母慰子、爾在耶路撒冷、必得慰藉、 | As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. |
| 14 | 爾曹見之、心則喜樂、骸骨之豐、有如茂草、耶和華之手、必見於其臣僕、其怒加於仇讐、 | And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies. |
| 15 | 耶和華必蒞臨於火、其乘輅若旋風、忿然發怒、以烈焰加譴責、 | For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. |
| 16 | 蓋耶和華以火與刃、罰凡有血氣者、爲耶和華所戮者衆、 | For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many. |
| 17 | 自別自潔之人、入於園囿、而從其中一人、食豕與鼠、及可惡之物、彼必偕亡、耶和華言之矣、 | They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord. |
| 18 | 其所思所爲、我悉知之、屆期、我必會集諸民諸族、彼必來瞻我之榮光、 | For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. |
| 19 | 我在其中將施異蹟、遣彼免難之人、至於列邦、卽至他施、普勒、張弓之路德、及土巴、雅完、與遼遠之島、未聞我名、未見我榮之處、彼將宣揚我榮於列邦、 | And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. |
| 20 | 耶和華曰、異邦人將攜爾兄弟、乘馬及車、肩輿騾駝、來自諸國、詣我耶路撒冷聖山、以獻於我、若以色列族盛禮物於潔器、奉於我室、 | And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord. |
| 21 | 我自其中、簡人爲祭司、爲利未人、耶和華言之矣、 | And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord. |
| 22 | 耶和華又曰、我所造之新天新地、常存於我前、爾之苗裔、及爾之名、亦必永存、 | For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. |
| 23 | 耶和華又曰、每值月朔安息日、凡有血氣者、必詣我前崇拜、 | And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord. |
| 24 | 彼必出見干罪於我者之尸、其蟲不死、其火不滅、爲凡有血氣者所惡、 | And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. |
