| 1 | 我爲錫安故、不默然無言、爲耶路撒冷故、不安然而止、迨其公義顯著如輝光、拯救如火炬、 | For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. |
| 2 | 列國將觀爾公義、諸王將覩爾榮耀、爾必得新名、耶和華之口所命、 | And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. |
| 3 | 且爲花冠、在耶和華之手中、爲王冕、在爾上帝之掌上、 | Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. |
| 4 | 爾不復稱爲被棄者、地不復稱爲荒蕪者、爾必稱爲我之所悅、地必稱爲有夫、蓋耶和華悅爾、爾地必歸之、 | Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi–bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. |
| 5 | 譬諸壯男、得厥處女、爾之子民、亦將歸爾、爾之上帝將以爾爲樂、如新娶者燕其新婚、○ | For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. |
| 6 | 耶路撒冷歟、我置戍卒於爾城垣、彼晝夜不緘默、提撕耶和華者、尚其無息、 | I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, |
| 7 | 俾不安然、待其建造耶路撒冷、使爲全地所揄揚、 | And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. |
| 8 | 耶和華指己右手、及其有能之臂而誓、不復以爾之穀、給爾仇敵爲食、爾所勤勞而得之酒、外人不復飲之、 | The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: |
| 9 | 惟穫者得而食之、頌美耶和華斂者得而飲之、於我聖所之院、○ | But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. |
| 10 | 當出邑門、爲民備路、築甬道、去其石、爲列邦立幟、 | Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. |
| 11 | 耶和華宣告於地極曰、普告錫安女、爾之拯救臨至、加以賞賚、行其報施、 | Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. |
| 12 | 人將稱斯民爲聖民、耶和華所贖者、爾必稱爲尋獲不棄之邑、 | And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken. |
