| 1 | 主耶和華之神臨我、蓋耶和華膏我、俾傳嘉音於謙卑者、遣我醫傷心者、宣自由於俘虜、告開釋於繫囚、 | The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; |
| 2 | 布告耶和華悅納之年、及我上帝復仇之日、慰藉憂民、 | To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; |
| 3 | 凡在錫安哀悼者、賜以花冠、代其灰塵、沃以喜樂之膏、代其悲傷、被以頌美之服、代其憂戚、俾稱爲義樹、乃耶和華所植、以彰其榮、 | To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. |
| 4 | 必復築久荒之處、建夙毀之區、營累代傾圮之邑、 | And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. |
| 5 | 外人將起、牧爾羣羊、異族將爲爾耕田畝、治葡萄園、 | And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. |
| 6 | 惟爾稱爲耶和華之祭司、我上帝之役事、享列國之貨財、得其榮顯而誇詡、 | But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. |
| 7 | 倍膺賞賚、以代羞恥、大得喜樂、以代凌辱、在於故土、倍得產業、懽忭無窮、 | For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. |
| 8 | 我耶和華好公義、惡強奪及不義、必依誠實報之、且與之立永約、 | For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. |
| 9 | 其後裔見知於列邦、其子孫見知於億兆、凡見之者、必認爲耶和華錫嘏之民、○ | And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed. |
| 10 | 我緣耶和華而樂甚、心緣我上帝而欣然、蓋其被我以拯救、衣我以仁義、如新娶者冠以花冠、猶之新婦飾以珍寶、 | I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. |
| 11 | 譬諸土壤、百卉滋生、園囿之內、所種萌芽、主耶和華亦必使公義頌揚、發生於列國、 | For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. |
