| 1 | 耶和華歟、爾爲我之上帝、我尊崇爾、頌美爾名、因爾以信以誠、施行奇事、乃爾自古所擬定者、 | O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. |
| 2 | 爾使衞城爲瓦礫、堅城爲邱墟、外族之宮、不復爲邑、永不再建、 | For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built. |
| 3 | 是以強盛之民將尊爾、暴國之邑將畏爾、 | Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee. |
| 4 | 在強者肆行殘暴、如狂風衝突牆垣之時、爾爲貧窮者之堅城、困乏者難中之保障、狂風中爲避所、炎熱時爲蔭庇、 | For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. |
| 5 | 爾將息外族之喧譁、若去炎蒸於旱地、止強暴之凱歌、若散酷熱於雲影、 | Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low. |
| 6 | 萬軍之耶和華、將於此山、爲兆民設肥甘之宴、旨酒之筵、肥甘髓滿、旨酒澄清、 | And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. |
| 7 | 又於此山、盡除蔽萬民之巾、蒙列邦之帕、 | And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. |
| 8 | 滅絕死亡、爰及世世、主耶和華必拭衆面之淚、去其民之辱於天下、耶和華言之矣、○ | He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. |
| 9 | 是日也、將有人曰、此乃我之上帝、我素望之、彼必援我、此乃耶和華、我素望之、因其拯救、歡欣喜樂、 | And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. |
| 10 | 耶和華將按手於此山、惟摩押遭蹂躪、若草芥被踐於糞池、 | For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill. |
| 11 | 彼將舒手其中、如泅者舒手以游、惟耶和華必抑其驕傲、去其手之機巧、 | And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands. |
| 12 | 毀城垣之高臺、覆而下之、至於塵埃、 | And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust. |
