1 是日、我返猶大與耶路撒冷俘囚之時、 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 我將招集萬邦、攜至約沙法谷而鞫之、因其以我民卽我業以色列、散於列邦、並分我地、 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3 且爲我民掣籤、以童易妓、鬻女得酒而飲、 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
4 推羅西頓、及非利士四境歟、爾與我何涉、爾欲報復於我乎、如爾報我、我必疾使爾報歸於爾首、 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
5 爾旣刦我金銀、以我珍寶、攜入爾宮、 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 以猶大及耶路撒冷人、鬻於希臘人、俾遠離其境、 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 我將激之、離爾所鬻而至之地、使爾之報、歸於爾首、 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 且鬻爾之子女於猶大人、彼鬻於示巴、卽遠方之國、耶和華言之矣、○ And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 當宣告於列邦曰、爾其備戰、激勵勇士、使戰士咸進而上、 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 以犂製劍、以鐮製戈、懦者當曰、我乃勇士、 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 四周諸邦、爾其迅速來集、耶和華歟、使爾勇士、蒞臨於此、 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.
12 列國其興、上至約沙法谷、我坐於彼、而鞫四周諸民、 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 禾稼旣熟、當以鐮刈之、酒醡旣盈、其池旣溢、當至而踐之、以其惡大也、 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 羣衆羣衆、在於斷定谷、耶和華在斷定谷之日伊邇矣、 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 日月晦冥、星辰斂曜、 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 耶和華自錫安號呼、自耶路撒冷發聲、天地震動、惟耶和華必爲其民之避所、爲以色列人之保障、 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17 爾則知我乃爾之上帝耶和華、居於錫安、我之聖山、於是耶路撒冷爲聖、外人不復經行其中、 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18 是日也、山滴酒醴、岡流乳酪、猶大諸溪流水、耶和華室出泉、灌漑什亭谷、 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 埃及將成荒蕪、以東必爲荒野、因其虐遇猶大人、流無辜之血於其地、 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 惟猶大必永存、耶路撒冷歷世弗替、 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 昔我未雪之血、今必雪之、耶和華居於錫安故也、 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.
