| 1 | 約雅敬時、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒至、約雅敬臣服之、歷至三年、乃背叛之、 | In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. |
| 2 | 耶和華使迦勒底軍、亞蘭軍、摩押軍、及亞捫族軍攻之、侵猶大欲滅之、如耶和華藉其僕衆先知所言、 | And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets. |
| 3 | 此事臨及猶大、乃耶和華所命、以屛之於其前、因瑪拿西所犯諸罪也、 | Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; |
| 4 | 且因其流無辜之血、遍滿耶路撒冷、耶和華不赦之、 | And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon. |
| 5 | 約雅敬其餘事蹟、凡其所行、俱載於猶大列王紀、 | Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? |
| 6 | 約雅敬與列祖偕眠、子約雅斤嗣位、 | So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead. |
| 7 | 埃及王不復由其國而來、乃因巴比倫王攻取其地、自埃及溪至伯拉河、○ | And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt. |
| 8 | 約雅斤卽位時、年十八歲、在耶路撒冷爲王、僅歷三月、其母名尼護施他、耶路撒冷人以利拿單女也、 | Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem. |

| 10 | 時、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之臣僕、上至耶路撒冷圍之、 | At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged. |
| 11 | 當其臣僕圍城時、尼布甲尼撒至、 | And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it. |
| 12 | 猶大王約雅斤與其母、及其臣僕、牧伯宦豎出降、巴比倫王執之、此巴比倫王八年事也、 | And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign. |
| 13 | 取耶和華室及王宮之寶物、悉攜之出、又碎以色列王所羅門所製耶和華殿中諸金器、如耶和華所言、 | And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said. |
| 14 | 又將耶路撒冷民衆、與牧伯勇士、共萬人、以及匠役鐵工、悉虜之去、除極貧者外、斯土無餘民焉、 | And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land. |
| 15 | 俘約雅斤與其母、及后妃宦豎、曁國中顯者、自耶路撒冷至巴比倫、 | And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. |
| 16 | 又虜武士七千、匠役鐵工一千、皆善戰之壯士、俱攜至巴比倫、 | And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. |
| 17 | 巴比倫王立約雅斤叔瑪探雅、代之爲王、易其名曰西底家、○ | And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah. |
| 18 | 西底家卽位時、年二十有一、在耶路撒冷爲王、歷十一年、其母名哈慕他、立拿人耶利米女也、 | Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. |
| 19 | 西底家行耶和華所惡、效約雅敬所爲、 | And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. |
| 20 | 耶和華怒耶路撒冷及猶大、致屛之於其前、 | For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. |
