1 又作銅壇、長二十肘、寬二十肘、高十肘、 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
2 鑄一銅海、其式維圓、高五肘、徑十肘、圍三十肘、 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
3 其下四周、有匏瓜環之、每肘十瓜、瓜爲二行、與海同鑄、 And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.
4 海有十二牛負之、北向三、西向三、南向三、東向三、海在其上、牛後內向、 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
5 海厚一掌、邊製如盂、式若百合花、可容三千罷特、 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.
6 又作盤十、右置五、左置五、以備浣濯、屬燔祭之物滌於其中、惟祭司則濯於銅海、 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
7 以金作燈臺十、循其定式、置於殿內、右五左五、 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
8 作几十、置於殿內、右五左五、作金盂百、 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.
9 更造祭司院、與大院、及院門、包門以銅、 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.
10 置海於殿右、東邊南向、 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.
11 戶蘭亦製釜鏟盂、爲所羅門王在上帝室所作者、悉竣厥工、 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;
12 卽柱二、柱上之球與頂各二、覆柱球之網二、 To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;
13 石榴四百、繫於二網、網各二行、以覆柱頂二球、 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.
14 又製諸座、及座上之盤、 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;
15 銅海一、及其下之牛十二、 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.
16 釜鏟鍤、及耶和華室之諸器、皆父老戶蘭、以光潔之銅、爲所羅門王製之、 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the Lord of bright brass.
17 在約但平原、疎割撒利但間膠土之地鑄之、 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.
18 所羅門所製之器、其數甚多、所用之銅、輕重未詳、 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
19 所羅門作上帝室之諸器、及金壇與陳餅之几、 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
20 燈臺與其盞、循其常例、燃於內殿前、俱以精金製之、 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
21 其花與盞及剪、以純金而製、 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;
22 鑷盂匙鼎、以精金而製、室門與至聖所之扉、及室之扉、皆以金作之、 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
