| 2 | 先見哈拿尼子耶戶出迓曰、爾助惡人、愛憾耶和華者、宜乎、因此、耶和華之怒及爾、 | And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the Lord. |
| 3 | 然爾尚有善事在焉、卽除境內之木偶、致志尋求上帝也、○ | Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God. |
| 4 | 約沙法居耶路撒冷、後巡民間、自別是巴至以法蓮山地、令民復歸其列祖之上帝耶和華、 | And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer–sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the Lord God of their fathers. |

| 6 | 謂士師曰、愼爾所行、蓋爾聽訟非爲人、乃爲耶和華、爾行鞫時、耶和華與爾偕焉、 | And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment. |
| 7 | 當寅畏耶和華、愼爾所爲、因我上帝耶和華無不義、不偏視、不受賄也、 | Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts. |
| 8 | 約沙法亦立利未人與祭司、及以色列族長於耶路撒冷、爲耶和華行鞫聽訟、居於耶路撒冷、 | Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the Lord, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem. |
| 9 | 王命之曰、爾當寅畏耶和華、專心誠實行此、 | And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and with a perfect heart. |
| 10 | 爾之昆弟居於各邑、如有訟事就爾、或爲流血、或犯法度誡命、典章律例、當訓戒之、免其獲罪於耶和華、致耶和華之怒及爾、與爾昆弟、爾依此而行、則無罪矣、 | And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the Lord, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass. |
| 11 | 凡屬耶和華之事、大祭司亞瑪利雅總理之、凡屬王事、猶大族長、以實瑪利子西巴第雅總理之、利未人爲爾之有司、當強乃志而行、願耶和華與善者偕焉、 | And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the Lord; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king’s matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the Lord shall be with the good. |
