| 1 | 耶和華諭我曰、 | The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, |
| 2 | 人子歟、爾其預言曰、主耶和華云、爾其號咷曰、哀哉斯日、 | Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! |
| 3 | 其日伊邇、耶和華之日將屆、乃密雲之日、異邦之期、 | For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. |
| 4 | 鋒刃必臨於埃及、其人被殺而仆、古實慘怛、民衆被虜、基址傾毀、 | And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. |
| 5 | 古實、弗、路德、與雜族之人、及古巴與同盟國之衆、偕亡於刃、○ | Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword. |
| 6 | 耶和華曰、扶持埃及者必蹶、埃及恃力之高傲必降、自密奪至色弗尼、俱仆於刃、主耶和華言之矣、 | Thus saith the Lord; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord God. |
| 7 | 彼必荒蕪、列於荒蕪之國、其邑毀壞、列於毀壞之邑、 | And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. |
| 8 | 我燃火於埃及、殲滅凡助之者、彼則知我乃耶和華、 | And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed. |
| 9 | 是日我必遣使駕舟、令安居之古實人震驚、加以慘怛、同於埃及遘災之日、其事伊邇、○ | In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. |
| 10 | 主耶和華曰、我必藉巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、滅絕埃及之衆、 | Thus saith the Lord God; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon. |
| 11 | 彼必率其民衆、卽列邦之強暴者、入滅斯土、拔刃以攻埃及、被殺者遍於其地、 | He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain. |
| 12 | 我必涸其諸河、鬻其地於惡人之手、亦藉外人之手、荒蕪其地、滅其所有、我耶和華言之矣、○ | And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the Lord have spoken it. |
| 13 | 主耶和華曰、我必毀其偶像、絕其神像於挪弗、埃及不復有君、其地震驚、我使之然、 | Thus saith the Lord God; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt. |
| 14 | 我必荒蕪巴忒羅、燃火於瑣安、行鞫於挪、 | And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No. |
| 15 | 傾我怒於訓、卽埃及之保障、滅絕挪衆、 | And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No. |
| 16 | 燃火於埃及、訓民慘怛、挪邑破壞、挪弗日遭敵害、 | And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily. |
| 17 | 亞文比伯實之少者、必仆於刃、邑民被虜、 | The young men of Aven and of Pi–beseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity. |
| 18 | 我於答比匿、折埃及之軛、止其恃力之高傲、斯時日光斂曜、密雲覆邑子女被虜、 | At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. |
| 19 | 如是行鞫於埃及、彼則知我乃耶和華、○ | Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 20 | 十一年正月七日、耶和華諭我曰、 | And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 21 | 人子歟、我已折埃及王法老之肱、不裹其傷、不敷以藥、不纏以布、俾其無力執刃、 | Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. |
| 22 | 故主耶和華曰、我與埃及王法老爲敵、必折其二肱、健者傷者、今並折之、使刃墮於其手、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. |
| 23 | 俾埃及人散於列國、分於異邦、 | And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. |
| 24 | 堅巴比倫王之肱、付我刃於其手、折法老之肱、使呻吟於其前、若人受重傷然、 | And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man. |
| 25 | 我必輔巴比倫王之肱、使法老之肱下垂、旣以我刃付巴比倫王手、使舉而擊埃及國、則知我乃耶和華、 | But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. |
| 26 | 我必使埃及人散於列國、分於異邦、俾知我乃耶和華、 | And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
