| 1 | 十年十月十二日、耶和華諭我曰、 | In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 2 | 人子歟、其面埃及王法老、及埃及四境而預言曰、 | Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt: |
| 3 | 主耶和華云、埃及王法老乎、我爲爾敵、爾乃巨鱷、臥於河中、自謂河爲我有、我爲己造之、 | Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. |
| 4 | 我必以鈎貫爾之頰、使河中之魚、附於爾鱗、曳爾及附鱗之魚、俱出於河、 | But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. |
| 5 | 擲爾及爾河中之魚於野、仆於田間、不集不斂、必付爾於地之走獸、天之飛鳥、爲其所食、 | And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven. |
| 6 | 埃及居民、則知我乃耶和華、蓋埃及人、爲以色列家所恃之葦杖、 | And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. |
| 7 | 彼執爾於手、爾則斷折、致傷其肩、彼倚爾時、爾則斷折、致閃其腰、 | When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand. |
| 8 | 故主耶和華曰、我必使刃臨爾、絕爾人畜、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. |
| 9 | 因埃及王自謂、河爲我有、乃我所造、埃及地必淒涼荒廢、則知我乃耶和華、 | And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the Lord: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it. |
| 10 | 我乃敵爾、及爾諸河、必使埃及地荒廢淒涼、自密奪至色弗尼、延及古實界、 | Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia. |
| 11 | 人足不履之、獸蹄不經之、無人居處、歷四十年、 | No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. |
| 12 | 我必使埃及地荒蕪、列於荒蕪之國、其邑毀壞、列於毀壞之邑、歷四十年、使埃及人散於異邦、分於列國、 | And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. |
| 13 | 主耶和華曰、越四十年、我必集埃及人、使離分散而至之民、 | Yet thus saith the Lord God; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered: |
| 14 | 反其俘囚、俾歸巴忒羅地、乃其故土、在彼爲卑微之邦、 | And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. |
| 15 | 卽列國中之至卑者、不復振興、超越諸邦、我必減其人數、俾其不再統轄諸國、 | It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. |
| 16 | 不復爲以色列家所賴、以色列家若仰望之、必憶其罪、而知我乃主耶和華、○ | And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord God. |
| 17 | 二十七年正月朔、耶和華諭我曰、 | And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 18 | 人子歟、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、遣師以攻推羅、乃爲大役、故皆髠首破肩、而王及軍旅、未得攻推羅之犒勞、 | Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it: |
| 19 | 故主耶和華曰、我必以埃及地、賜巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、彼必虜其庶民、掠其財物、奪其所獲、以犒其軍、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. |
| 20 | 彼爲我供役、我以埃及地賜之、以爲賞勞、主耶和華言之矣、○ | I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord God. |
| 21 | 是時、我必使以色列家萌一角、俾爾啟口於其中、彼則知我乃耶和華、 | In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
