| 1 | 主歟、爾爲我居所、歷世不易兮、 | Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. |
| 2 | 山岡尚未生出、寰區尚未造成、自亙古迄永久、爾爲上帝兮、 | Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. |
| 3 | 爾使人歸於土、曰爾世人其旋返兮、 | Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. |
| 4 | 自爾視之、千年如已逝之昨日、同於夜之一更兮、 | For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. |
| 5 | 爾衝人若大水、彼如寢寐、如朝生之草兮、 | Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. |
| 6 | 晨則萌芽滋長、夕則芟刈枯槁兮、 | In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. |
| 7 | 我儕因爾怒而消亡、緣爾忿而驚惶兮、 | For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. |
| 8 | 我之罪愆、爾陳之於目前、我之隱惡、爾顯之於容光兮、 | Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. |
| 9 | 我之時日、度於爾怒、畢我歲月、如歎息之發兮、 | For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. |
| 10 | 我之年數、乃爲七旬、如其強健、可至八旬、然其所誇、祇爲憂苦、其逝迅速、我去如飛兮、 | The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. |
| 11 | 孰識爾怒之勢、孰依畏爾之道、而知爾忿乎、 | Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. |
| 12 | 求爾教我計己之日、俾獲慧心兮、 | So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. |
| 13 | 耶和華歟、歷時何久、尚其回轉、悔心於爾僕兮、 | Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. |
| 14 | 使我侵晨飫爾慈惠、致我畢生歡欣喜樂兮、 | O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. |
| 15 | 依爾苦我之日、遘難之年、俾我喜樂兮、 | Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. |
| 16 | 顯爾作爲於爾僕、著爾榮光於其裔兮、 | Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. |
| 17 | 願我主上帝之恩臨我、尚其堅立我手所作、我手所作、堅立之兮、 | And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. |
