1 我必永歌耶和華之慈惠、以口傳爾信實、至於萬世兮、 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2 我曾云慈惠必永立、爾之信實、建於諸天兮、○ For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
3 我與所簡之人立約、對於我僕大衞宣誓兮、 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
4 必立爾裔於永久、堅爾位至萬世兮、 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.
5 耶和華歟、諸天讚爾奇行、聖者會中、頌爾信實兮、 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
6 在於穹蒼、孰比耶和華、上帝子中、孰如耶和華乎、 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?
7 彼在聖者會中爲神、極爲可畏、較環之者、尤爲可懼兮、 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
8 萬軍之上帝耶和華歟、孰爲有能、如爾耶和華、爾之信實、在於四周兮、 O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
9 爾制海狂、波濤澎湃、爾平之兮、 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
10 爾擊破拉哈伯、等於被戮之人、以爾臂力潰爾敵兮、 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
11 諸天屬爾、地亦爾有、世與充其中者、爲爾所立兮、 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
12 南北爲爾所創、他泊黑門、因爾名而歡欣兮、 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
13 爾臂有能、爾手有力、爾之右手高舉兮、 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
14 爾位之基、惟公與義、慈惠誠實、行於爾前兮、 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
15 耶和華歟、得聞歡呼之聲、行於爾容光者、斯民其有福兮、 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
16 彼爲爾名、終日喜樂、在於爾義、得高舉兮、 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
17 爾爲其力之榮、緣爾之恩、我角高舉兮、 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18 我儕之盾、屬耶和華、我儕之王、屬以色列之聖者兮、○ For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
19 爾見異象、諭爾聖民曰、我以助力、畀有能者、高舉一人、自民所簡兮、 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
20 尋獲我僕大衞、膏以聖膏兮、 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21 我手恆與之偕、我臂必增其力、 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
22 仇敵不得勒索之、惡黨不得困苦之兮、 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
23 我必擊仆其敵、撻憾之者兮、 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
24 我之信實慈惠、必與之偕、藉我之名、其角高舉兮、 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 我使其手及於海、右手至於河兮、 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 彼必呼我曰、爾爲我父、我之上帝、我拯救之磐石兮、 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
27 我必立之爲冢子、地上至高之王兮、 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
28 爲之永存我慈惠、堅定我盟約兮、 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
29 我必永延其裔、俾其位如天悠久兮、 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30 如其子孫違棄我法度、不遵我律例、 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
31 玷辱我典章、不守我誡命、 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
32 我必以杖責其愆尤、以鞭懲其罪戾兮、 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33 然我之慈惠、不盡追回、我之信實、不忍廢棄、 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
34 不爽我約、不易我口所出兮、 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 我指己聖而誓、一次而已、必不欺誑大衞兮、 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36 其裔永存、其位在於我前、如日之久、 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
37 如月之恆、如上天之確證兮、○ It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.
38 惟爾怒爾受膏者、屛而棄之兮、 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
39 厭惡爾僕之約、褻其冕於地兮、 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.
40 拆其藩籬、毀其保障、 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
41 路人皆攘奪之、爲鄰邦之辱兮、 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
42 爾舉其敵之右手、使其諸仇歡欣兮、 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
43 卻其兵刃、臨陳不使之卓立兮、 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
44 息其光輝、傾其國位於地兮、 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
45 促其幼日、被以羞恥兮、 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.
46 耶和華歟、歷時何久、豈將永隱乎、爾怒如火之焚、何其久乎、 How long, Lord? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
47 願爾垂念、我之時日、何其短促、爾造世人、使之何其虛幻兮、 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
48 何人生而不死、自拯其魂、脫於陰府之勢乎、 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.
49 主歟、爾之慈惠、昔依信實、誓行於大衞者、今安在哉、 Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?
50 主歟、念爾諸僕之辱、念我所懷、多民加我之辱兮、 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
51 耶和華歟、爾敵所加之辱、卽辱爾受膏者之行蹤兮、○ Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
52 當頌美耶和華、迄於永久、誠所願兮、誠所願兮、 Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
